He was willing to work with our ideas and came up with a lovely functional design while at the same time addressing issues like subsidence, drainage, structural problems and aesthetics. Our covered front porch was made of two pieces of concrete, one of which was starting to tilt into our front yard away from the house. Diego quickly assessed the situation and proposed ways to protect the existing structure from erosion and invasion by our cute little neighborhood critters. Diego and his assistant stabilized the roof, demolished the existing concrete, poured footings for the new structure and fixed up the walls of the house, matching the existing siding. Then, he built a beautiful redwood front porch for us with a Shaker style balustrade and stairs. He consulted with us on the various features and materials and we got exactly what we wanted. The quality of his work is impressive and we would recommend Diego and his company, Assistance in Paradise for any project you have in mind."
