"Very impressed. Small job of removing overgrown ivy, but a very big job to do myself. Taylor called me right away, & came to give me an estimate. He completed the job quickly & removed the cuttings. Very polite & I will use him for other jobs in the future."

"Sergey was prompt, responsive, courteous, professional and did a fantastic and timely job! He worked solo hauling quite heavy furniture in the pouring down rain and did so without complaint. We were having a rough time (had to leave our apartment due to flooding and mold and were mentally and physically exhausted and overwhelmed. He was incredibly empathic and sensitive to our situation. His pricing was great and he offered that he has other skills that we could hire him for so be ready with your project list! :) My family all agreed we'd highly recommend him for any future projects!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Professionals use appropriate equipment to prevent property damage and ensure efficiency.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.
