They did everything they agreed to do and a bit extra. When they said they would start at 8:00 they weren't kidding. They showed up at 7:30 got all their gear laid out and at 8:00 they were hoisting up in a bucket, and the first limbs were dropping by 8:02. The crew was friendly, but all business. Both trees were next to the house and in the middle of landscaping and they took care to protect everything around them. Couldn't be more pleased.

Flying Squirrel Tree Care, Inc., did an outstanding job getting the house Cal Fire compliant. They were very easy to contact and very friendly in making arrangements for the job. They showed up on time and were ready to go to work on the trees immediately. They cut branches and also cut down the dead trees that were in the defensible space area. They worked fast and efficiently, while being safety conscious. They were friendly answering questions that came up. The crew did an excellent job clearing. and were very easy to deal with. Would recommend them for tree servicing. If we need service for other trees in the future, we will most definitely use their Flying Squirrel Tree Care, Inc, again!

We hired them twice. The second time we did a day rate to clear a hillside. We knew they would not be able to do everything. However, instead of doing some cutting and them some chipping, they did lots of cutting and then did not have time for clean up or chipping. They left a mess. They cut down some of the berries that we asked them to leave. They did not put the chipping pile where we asked for it, but did not check with us (we were home). They also had said there were going to be 6 workers, but there were only 4 and one who stayed by the truck most of the time. I made two or three calls their office before only the foreman who had been here to call me back. I called two more times and left an email and have still not had a response from the owner after a month. The first time we had them, they did a very nice professional job, and the rate was good.

Once on site, everything was amazing. Removed a 50+ ft. oak overhanging house and propane tank as well as limbs from 2 more 50+ ft. oaks. Worked around deck, patios, chicken coop, clothes line. Clean up the best I've ever had: debris chipped, raked, blown, rounds bucked and placed next to splitter as instructed. Aside from open space, you would not know tree work had been done. Did have to reschedule once due to (their) an emergency.

Fast, efficient and I plan to hire them again in the future.

We hired Flying Squirrel to remove a dead 25 foot oak tree from our front yard in close proximity to our house. We asked that our plants and other trees be protected and that the wood be stacked for us as firewood. The crew showed up and did a very professional job. There was minimal damage and the small branches were chipped on site and removed. Clean-up was thorough. We were very happy with the work.
