"These guys were great! We moved into a house and needed help understanding why our landscaping quickly started dying. Landscaping Bay Area carefully diagnosed and quickly fixed the issues, thoughtfully taught us about our system, and added lines to automate our yard care. Would absolutely recommend and use them again!"

Customers say: Quality work

"John gives you very personal attention, very easy to deal with, and a joy to visit with someone of his integrity and understanding. John was on-time, on budget, and did an excellent job of clearing several years accumulation of debris from under 4 redwood trees on a steep slope. John works quickly and leaves the jobsight clean. I made a GOOD CHOICE!!"

"Yes they removed the gardenia bush I had in the front. They have done many jobs for me since then. Very professional, however very busy. I takes them 4 days to respond back to setup a consultation."

"I had such a great experience with Francis Junk Removal today! The booking process was easy, and they arrived right on time. He was incredibly friendly and even went out of his way to help me move some of my other belongings, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled carefully, and the price was very reasonable. I’ll definitely use this service again and highly recommend it to anyone in need of junk removal or moving help! 🙌"

"I hired Moon landscaping for a one-time yard clean up. There was some lite junk to be removed as well as yard matinance, bushes removal, and tree trimming. It was a significant job. They arrived when they said they would be there and worked efficiently and beyond. We were very satisfied with their work and will be hiring them for other clean ups."

"I hired David to remove yard debris and junk we needed to dispose of- including large appliances. From the beginning David was very responsive and was able to come and complete the job within a day since we were on a time crunch to get this removed. He was able to provide us with an excellent and very reasonable price for the job. He was quick, thorough, clean and made sure we were satisfied with the job. He made sure our yard was immaculate before he left and even cleaned where the appliance was! David effort and efficiency was greatly appreciated and we will call him for any future needs."

Small jobs welcome

"Roger and Rashad were professional, courteous, prompt, and cleaned up after the tree was removed and stump ground. The price was extremely competitive and not only would I recommend them to family and friends but I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

Professional lead removal involves identifying and safely removing or encapsulating lead-based paints and materials, using specialized equipment, and following strict safety procedures to minimize exposure and contamination.
