"Very prompt to respond to my call. Service person very pleasant and knowledgeable. Reviewed in detail what he thought problem was. Offered to have me sign up for regular service visits twice a year which made cost of this visit nothing so I agreed. Said they would order part he thought I needed and have it available if required which I appreciated. He wrote some descriptions of the HVAC system in his notes which described ducts as in " poor condition " but didn't mention that to me. I thought he should have. Will use again."

"We had a totally broken HVAC system in our 30 year old house. They came in and fixed it in two days. The guys were very friendly and answered our questions. Traditional central air conditioning systems require ductwork to circulate air throughout the home. Alternatively, you can add air conditioning with a mini-split ductless air conditioning system, which can be just as energy efficient as a central air conditioner. This type of system consists of two units–an outside unit that holds the compressor and condenser and an indoor unit that holds an air-handler. With multi-zone ductless systems, there are multiple indoor air handlers tied to a single outdoor compressor/condenser, allowing the system to cool multiple rooms.

The cost of R32 refrigerant is about the same as the cost of R410A refrigerant, the most widely available type of refrigerant today. However, R32 systems use about 20% less refrigerant than R410A systems, making the refrigerant less expensive overall.

While an air conditioner can temporarily run with a dirty filter, it is not recommended as it will not work efficiently. A dirty filter forces the system to work harder to circulate cool air, leading to reduced airflow, increased wear and tear, and higher energy bills. This added strain can cause the air conditioner to overheat or fail prematurely. Furthermore, a clogged filter may allow dust and dirt to accumulate in your ductwork, negatively impacting air quality. It is more cost-effective to clean or replace filters regularly than to pay higher utility bills and risk needing to replace the entire AC unit.

Condensation forms when warmer, outside air combines with cooler air in your ductwork. This can happen when there are leaks in your air ducts, your HVAC system has a dirty air filter, or there’s a lack of insulation around the ducts. To prevent it from happening, replace your HVAC filters as directed. Also, once every five years, hire a local air duct cleaner to clean and inspect them.

If left untreated, a frozen AC unit can lead to costly damage, especially to the compressor and evaporator coils. When ice forms on the evaporator coils, they become brittle and more susceptible to breaking. Plus, a freeze makes your AC system much less efficient, which means it's wasting energy and costing you more in your monthly energy bills.
