"They did an excellent job. The only issue was that after starting to chip away at the old plaster, they called me and told me that my pool had been replastered before. Therefore it had 2 layers of old plaster. That meant more work to chip it all the way down to the gunite. That would cost $1,500 more! I had chosen PPP because of their low bid and good reviews on Angie's List. I was very upset. Jorge said that he could replaster without stripping down to the the gunite. I told him that other companies specified in their estimate and quot;strip down to the guniteand quot;. He agreed to drop the surcharge to $1,200.
Notwithstanding this, PPP were still cheaper and did a superb job.
My recommendation to others is to make the contractor be very specific as to his assumptions and state what are the incremental costs if these assumptions turn out to be incorrect.Jorge is a very pleasant man who is a pleasure to deal with.

"Bill and the rest of the Fine Point team were incredible.
They sanded and repainted a large kitchen with stained oak cabinets. Since the oak didn't take the paint like other woods, they applied an extra coat of primer and and extra finishing coat to make sure that it looked the way we hoped. They used a spray, which helped give the cabinets a professional, uniform coat. They look fantastic.
When the paint dried, some of the cabinets didn't close properly. This is not a criticism?when we told Bill, he came by the next day to fix those that were misaligned (which could have happened in any project), so the final kitchen looked perfect.
The whole team was really friendly. They put in extra hours to make sure the job was done well, and honored their initial estimate, which was completely reasonably compared to some estimates we received.
They touched up several areas of the house. When we couldn't find a matching paint for the upstairs bathroom, Bill repainted the entire wall with another paint, and he did it for a nominal fee.
What can I say? The team was patient with us as clients, thorough with the job, and masters of the craft. Our house looks fantastic, and I'd hire them or recommend them in a heartbeat.

"Pablo and co. are the best! When we moved we inherited a pool + service. However the service person wasn't so forthcoming when we asked questions. Enter Pablo. He came to our place, inspected our pool and told us everything about it. He answered every bit of questions we had and, get this, he wasn't a pushy salesperson! He even told us the prices of the chemicals he used to keep our pool sparking clean! (And that's why he charged what he charged us). Since then Pablo has expanded his business into designing/building pools. In fact we were so comfortable with him that we always thought of him if there's any backyard structure we wanted to add (such as the upcoming poolside shower). "After interviewing and getting bids from a few different solar companies, we chose Horizon Energy, and we are so glad we did.  They are simply amazing!  We were more than pleased - we were thrilled with every aspect of the process.  The sales guy was dedicated and passionate about his work - he even designed a solar system that enabled us to put the panels on the back, north-facing side of our house!  All the other solar guys told us the panels would have to go on the front of our house...something we didn't really want to do.  Well, Horizon came through!  And because we put them on the back of the house, we didn't have to go with the expensive, aesthetically-pleasing panels, saving us some money.
