Bay Area Blind Cleaners & Repairs is as the name says, we are the best for your window covering needs in and around the Bay Area. Business has always been family owned and operated since 1972. We also offer free estimates, no pressure sales, and free consultations. Our scheduling is very flexible and we take pride in being punctual and responsive. For our cleaning process, Gary or Peter will measure and inspect your window coverings providing a free estimate. If you should choose to move forward, we would remove your blinds, bring them to our plant-where we do our cleaning-and return them to you for re-installation! As for repairs, some can be done on site, but we usually have the resources back at in our shop at home to repair some other blinds. Frequently work with Hunter Douglas products and can usually have them repaired without sending them to manufacturer. Regular maintenance on your blinds will keep them looking better and lasting longer for a fraction of the cost of buying new!

"I had motorized blinds and the company from which I bought them, which was three day blinds. Couldn’t even help me fix my motor. I contacted Bay Area blind cleaners and repairs to help me fix the motor. We decided on removing and pushing it with a manual the motor and so I could manually use the blind use the blind. It was an odd size so we had to order a part he came back when the proper part arrived so we could transition the blind to manual and it’s working fantastic. I am so happy. I think the level of service was excellent. I actually need to call him back and do another blind. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! "

"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

In response, we began offering a green and child safe cleaning process- one of the first to do so. We were ridiculed by some of our suppliers and competitors, now the try to imitate us. Our goal is to leave your carpet as chemical* free as possible. We believe in using the most powerful equipment available along with the safest natural cleaning agents available. In other words- we rely on the power of our equipment instead of harsh chemicals. Don’t worry if your carpet is extremely soiled. Most carpets will clean up just fine with our vegetable based cleaning agents, which we always use first. If needed, we have stronger cleaning agents available. We will be sure to rinse these cleaning agents out of your carpet in order to leave your carpet as chemical* free as possible. We use the scientifically proven superior cleaning process called hot water extraction. Many people wrongly refer to this as “Steam Cleaning.” HWE is the only method recommended by major carpet manufacturers. In fact, some companies that once advertised themselves as dry carpet cleaners are switching to the HWE method.

"I like to have my carpets cleaned once a year and for the last at least 6-7 years have only used COIT. Ok, I lie, I used Stanley Steamer once when I in a pinch and couldn't get a time slot in time for my event, but my preference is COIT. I live in the Bay Area....my luck, the first time COIT cleaned my carpets they sent Martin out and I've requested him only ever since! Martin is professional, courteous and efficient! I have a small space with carpet, maybe 600 feet. There's a standard base that you will need to pay no matter how small of an area (not sure if that dollar amount varies from location to location), I don't qualify for any discounts and yes, the price does keep going up but that's to be expected. And I'll pay for it since I don't think I can get the same result and I'm not willing to try. Martin is usually here for not even 30 minutes tops and always manages to arrive early. So be prepared! On another note, I can imagine that good workers might be hard to find in this industry. Let's be brutally honest, would you choose to be a carpet cleaner as your profession? Hopefully their managers are treating them well at the least. These people are lugging equipment, coming into your personal space and providing a service. A service that you don't want to do yourself. Be kind. They are only the messenger."
