"We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. The crew dug a deep trench, installed rebar, and poured a solid base. Once cured, the wall was built up and capped for a clean look. Drainage was included with weep holes and gravel backfill, which prevents water buildup behind the wall. The wall spans nearly 40 feet, transforming the yard into usable, level space."
