"We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. "I hired this contractor for a pergola rebuild due to water damage. Chris the owner is a finish carpenter and does extremely high quality work. Came out on a Saturday started the job on Monday and it extended for nearly 2 weeks. He was very meticulous in his planning and execution. Also had to work in harmony with a roofer handling that part of the repair. A challenge occurred in accommodating the structure and attaching the gutters and Chris came up with the ideal plan. Chris worked with a helper who was qualified as well for the work delegated to him. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and certainly would hire Chris again as appropriate."
