We are a family-owned company that has been in the spray foam business for over 20 years serving Fresno, Clovis, Bakersfield, Oildale and surrounding areas of Visalia California for many years. Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) is a spray-applied plastic that is widely used to insulate buildings and seal cracks and gaps, making a building or home more energy-efficient and comfortable. SPF insulation is known to resist heat transfer extremely well, and it offers a highly effective solution in reducing unwanted air infiltration through cracks, seams, and joints.Attic Spray Foam Insulation Did you know you could be losing up to 40% of your homes energy through the attic alone?! Using Spray Foam Insulation in your Attic is the only solution you should be considering to remedy your attic’s insulation needs. The attic is the part of the house which is easily over looked, but it is also the part of the home that is most susceptible to the external temperature changes. If you attic is not properly insulated it can lead to huge amounts of energy loss and the fluctuation of the temperature within your home. Proper attic spray foam insulation serves as the key to limit and control the effect of the external temperatures on your homes interior environment, monthly energy bills and energy loss.

"Rusty Schrader the owner/operator is a life saver and went out of his way to help me. He is very knowledgeable in the business and I highly recommend this company. You won’t find anyone more honest, helpful, and responsive so don’t even bother looking"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, the building code in your location will determine the minimum amount, in R-value, required for your home's walls, attic, and other spaces. For attics, the minimum R-value amounts start at R30 in the south, R38 in mild climate locations, and R49 in northern states and cold western areas.

R-30 insulation is better for higher thermal resistance, but whether it’s "better" depends on the application. R-30 is much thicker and suited for areas like attics or floors in cold climates, where more insulation is required. R-13, on the other hand, is thinner and works well for 2x4 walls or milder climates where less insulation is sufficient. Choosing between R-13 and R-30 depends on the area being insulated and the climate. For example, R-30 provides more insulation but may not fit everywhere in your home.

You don’t need to remove old insulation before adding new insulation. As long as the old insulation is still in good shape—not wet, physically damaged, or moldy—then you can stack new insulation on top of old insulation to get a compounding effect. You can also mix different types of insulation, like adding blown-in insulation around existing fiberglass batt insulation or installing rigid insulation boards over rafters in your attic that already have batt insulation installed. If your existing insulation is very old or damaged, though, you’ll likely see more benefit from removing it and replacing it instead.

If you’re a savvy DIYer around the house, own the basic tools, and have enough time on your hands, you can definitely install fiberglass insulation yourself. Doing the work yourself will certainly keep overall insulation costs down. However, if you’re not confident in your handy skills around the house, call in a professional.

If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
