"KN Remodeling redid my floors, removed a wall and got my JADU permitted, plus many more random fixes. Whatever project I threw at Nathan and his team he got done. They were great and I would use them again."

"They are very professional and their work is stunning. They bring your vision to life. Jose and his crew remodeled our whole downstairs our 3 bathrooms and kitchen. You need to see the transformation on his IG page! Unrecognizable! Even with the delays in material during COVID they stayed on top of it. "Richard and his team were great to work with. The Team showed up everyday on time and even stayed later to avoid unnecessary delays. Richard made sure I got the kitchen I wanted, not what the trend is and encouraged to be differentâ ¦ I loved that! He made the whole project very easy for me. He took care of ALL the research, ordering, and delivery of all appliances, sink, and faucets, and all within my budget. His value added services that are included in his prices are â 5 Starâ . I truly appreciated the way he and his team handled things that I brought to their attention to be fixed or reworkedâ ¦ Richard wanted to ensure things were correct and looked good. Another very positive experience was working with the shop he partners with to supply the cabinets, countertops, and tiles. Maxine made the experience extremely painless. I wanted color and her recommendations were exact what I wanted! I LOVE THESE COLORS!! And the countertop is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you, Maxine!!! Now, regarding the quality, I gave a rating of 4 stars. The construction and assembly of the cabinetry, I would give 5 stars. The only constructive feedback I have is related to the little details. I feel the overall clean up after the project was done could have had more TLC. One suggestion is to have one full day focused on detailing and touch ups. The cleanup for this project was at the very end of a long day of super hard work, the guys were tired and the last thing anyone would want to do is cleanâ ¦ totally understandable. That said, I donâ t want this feedback to take overshadow the amazing job Richard and Team did! Thank you, 3-D Remodeling, for making my dream kitchen come to fruition â ¤ï¸ â ¤ï¸ â ¤ï¸ ."

"Skyline converted our attached garage into a beautiful ADU with quality workmanship, fair pricing, and top notch materials. They were very particular with respect to details, which made a huge difference in the end. I would strongly recommend skyline and will use no other company for any project, large or small. If you want the job done right, with transparency and professional service from start to finish, look no further!"

"Dealing with contractors is never easy, and Ben is no pushover, but with very few exceptions, Ben and his crew do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it, and they do it very well. What else can you really ask for from contractors. He's organized and a person of integrity. I liked that he sent a Google chart with supplies to purchase that we could work together that helped me figure out what kind of parts and tiles to purchase. Great experience and our bathrooms are amazing."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Stone, marble, and brick are common building materials of Neoclassical architecture, though you will also find wood flooring and a range of natural stone tiles. Since several home styles fall under Neoclassical architects' umbrella, a range of building materials—including traditional wood framing—will make an appearance.

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.

Yes, professionals can offer design advice and material selections that complement existing architecture.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.
