"When Jacob came out I explained to him that the issues we have are because of an old fuse box that has been here since the 50s when the house was built. The appliances in the kitchen can’t handle that old fuse box so we wanted it changed. He insisted that we needed a whole house wire and that it would cost $22,000. We don’t have that kind of money to spend and we don’t have issues everywhere just when we use the kitchen. Later after he came I messaged him asking for a written quote so we can try and see if there’s a veteran organization out there who can help pay for this since this is what he’s saying needs done. No answer what so ever! So unprofessional. Then it gets better... we go more quotes from other companies and they all said “he must have not wanted the job. It shouldn’t cost that much for a re-wire” they provided quotes that were much more responsible and one company even offered to do process of elimination to see if spending $700 will fix the problem and if not go from there. But they quotes $2500 max of a re-wire is what needs to be done. Obviously we went with them."
