"Western Rooter to the rescue again! I had a small underground leak which appeared to be due to a bad sprinkler valve. A sprinkler repair company determined that it was not a bad sprinkler valve and thought it was due to a leak in the main water line. Daniel and Alex dug down to find that the leak was coming from a very old (at least 36 years) broken pvc line. After much testing and head scratching to try to figure out where the water was coming from, they decided to "chase the pipe." After much digging, they found that the very old broken pvc pipe was hooked up to a sprinkler valve that was buried 18 inches underground that had not been capped--only turned off. Roots from a nearby tree had opened the valve which caused the leak--crazy! The current sprinkler system has been the same one since we moved into the house in 1988. It took 36 years for the underground leak to occur!"

"Giovanni was very professional, arrived on time, and kept in contact by phone and message about arrivals, needed equipment, and expected work. He was careful to explain what needed to be done and why and approached work with a positive attitude. The job involved replacing some valves on an exterior faucet set on copper pipes. Afterward, he noticed that the house water pressure was high and found that the regulator was not working so I had him replace that. Overall this was a very positive experience and I would say he is one of the good guys. Give him a call if you need some plumbing work done."

He also installed a valve, so we could use the wash machine water to water the backyard trees and plants. A goal was to minimize damage to the exterior stucco, and he used drills instead of hammers to go through. He listened to our questions and made some recommendations to avoid leaks. I hired him to do some additional work the last plumber did wrong, and he did it at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Esteban Plumbing."
