If your looking for someone who knows your house in detail, and can execute your vision look no more. We typically exceed expectations on our projects, especially for those clients who know the ins and outs of construction. We will do what it takes to get the job done right, using the correct materials, and our work is build with longevity in mind.

"After the most recent wind storm we finally faced the fact that we had to replace our 24 year old fence and gate. Adam Throne did ours at a very reasonable price for high quality work. He showed up on time and worked his butt off until after dark to get our fence done as soon as possible to avoid prolonged inconvenience and worry to us of having our yard exposed. He was responsive to our picky concerns and preferences, recommended solutions, tore out a couple old shrubs at no extra cost, and cleaned up and hauled off the aftermath mess. His work is high quality and our fence is strong and will last us for another 24 years or more. We are so pleased and now our neighbors want to replace theirs!"

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

The best way to determine if ceiling cracks are structural is to hire a ceiling contractor to inspect the cracks and provide a professional opinion. That said, you might be able to make an educated guess based on the size and appearance of the crack. Larger cracks, cracks accompanied by sagging or discoloration, and cracks that travel from the ceiling down the walls are all signs of structural issues.

The best way to know if your beams still provide adequate support is to consult a structural engineer. Structural beams can crack and even sag over time but may still be structurally sound. Keep an eye out for signs of issues in your home, such as sagging floors or ceilings, major cracks in your ceiling and walls, or signs of water damage around a weight-bearing wall.

If the bowing basement wall is less than 2 inches, steel or carbon fiber straps are the best solution. For bowing that is more than 2 inches, wall anchors are the most effective. A contractor can help you decide the best method of repair for your home's foundation and also address the root cause of the trouble.

Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry.

Modern brick houses are really stick-built homes with a brick facade for aesthetic purposes only, so most have framing. With genuine brick construction, most homeowners install furring strips over the interior of the brick and then install drywall over those strips to cover the brick wall, so they don’t have traditional framing.
