"Cesar has worked for us before . He team painted our garage. We had our house repiped with 66 holes throughout the house. His team of worked quickly but very detailed in all they painted. The baseboards were razor sharp. No bleeding from wall paint( as my previous painter did ) Cesar s team fixed it and were neat and professional. Made my day. Attention to detail and cleanliness. I will use Cesar for all my painting going forward. His CS is above reproach and his prices are reasonable. He is top notch !!!!"

"The works include 1) Power wash all the surface to be painted, 2) Prep and paint wood including fascia board, trim, front door, wood siding and stucco, 3) Prep and paint patio, and 4) Patch stucco to blend in with existing stucco texture. The team members are professional, polite, and pay attention to the details. They also completed the job in a timely manner. Great job done!"

"John and his team were punctual and efficient during the whole exterior painting project. Other bidders had quoted a 3 day job, but John’s team arrived early and finished our project in 1 Day! That’s probably why he was the lowest bidder. The end result surpassed our expectations and we will definitely hire his company again for future painting jobs."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

The need for a topcoat on a painted deck depends on various factors, primarily the type of paint used and your desired level of protection. Many premium deck paint formulations are self-sealing, eliminating the necessity for an additional topcoat. These paints often have built-in additives that substantially protect against moisture, UV rays, and everyday wear and tear.

Beyond liquid rubber, homeowners can use sealants, stains, membranes, or tapes as waterproofing options. Oil-based or water-based sealants soak into the wood, creating a moisture-resistant barrier. Waterproofing stains—available in transparent, semi-transparent, and solid colors—add both protection and style to your deck. For heavy-duty waterproofing, deck membranes and waterproof tapes can be applied under the deck boards to direct water away from the structure below. Whatever method you choose, clean and prep the deck first to ensure the best, longest-lasting results.

Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.

If you have wood decking, there are several common deck problems that you might encounter. For example, your natural wood boards may fade over time due to things like sunlight, weather, and debris. On top of that, some types of wood decking can rot, grow mold, and attract destructive pests—including termites, carpenter ants, and woodpeckers.

No, it is not okay to paint over rotted wood. Painting over rotted wood will not address the underlying issue and can trap moisture, leading to further decay. Properly addressing the rotted wood by removing and replacing or repairing the damaged areas is necessary before you can even consider painting.
