Royal Chimney Service is a family-owned and operated small business serving the Bay Area from our base in San Jose. Tony Xaviel founded the business in 1986 and runs it with his family today. Tony is a licensed masonry contractor, and uses his expertise to reduce the risk of chimney fires and to make sure chimneys are strong enough for our earthquake-prone area. We have been fortunate to be voted "Best in the West" by the San Jose Mercury News and also to be recommended by many real estate agents, homeowners, and general contractors.

Are current staff comprises of 35 full time employees. We continuously educate our staff on the latest roofing trends and innovative products being introduced into the market place. This enables us to install many products are competitors are unable to offer, such as Standing Seam and Stone Coated Steel Roof Systems, Imitation Cedar shakes that replicate the look of real Cedar wood shake but are manufactured with the latest Polyurethane Technology. Are estimators are informative and able to educate on how to best construct an energy efficient, long lasting, performing roof system.

"We reached out to four roofing companies to quote our re-roofing project. We compared them on professionalism, quote thoroughness, feeling of trust and integrity with the salesperson, and knowledge. Westshore ranked highest hands down. They were not the cheapest, nor were they the highest bid, but they were the best. We felt so comfortable with Ben, and rather than try to upsell us as others did, he helped us figure out ways we could get the job done within our budget. The quote offered several options which was quite helpful in our choices. During our decision period, we had several questions and he responded immediately every time. When it came time for the work, the crew was always on time and professional. They cleaned up and you could barely tell they were even here at the end of the day. We were glad to see that the crew was able to take several water breaks (in nearly 100-degree heat) and time off for lunch and they still finished the job ahead of schedule. It showed us that Westshore takes care of their crews. We highly recommend Westshore Roofing."

However, the price they gave me was more than what I was quoted on the phone. The manager Kim, listened to my original phone call that was made and called me back saying I was quoted the wrong price on the phone. They stood by what I was originally quoted and I really appreciated that. They apologized saying the person I spoke with was still a little new but they honored the price I was quoted."
