"Andrew was our plumber and also the owner of Service Flow Plumbing. He is everything you want in a professional tradesmen. He was polite, prompt, respectful of my home, thorough, very efficient, and was very generous with his time answering all my questions and showing me how to fix my next faucet handle. His rates are reasonable especially when you consider the level of attention he gives to your problem. I'm telling my family and friends about him & his company because service like his is unfortunately too rare."

"We used ARS Rescue Rooter on two different occasions during a 1 1/2 week period. They located problems that the city became responsible for and the second time they located and repaired a water pipe leak underneath the slab in one of our bathroom The people they sent, Shai, Kyle and Clint were professional, knowledgeable, clean and quick. Their work was high-quality and I have never seen such complete cleanup. I would highly recommend ARS Rescue Rooter to anyone seeking plumbing and drain work."

"The Diamond House Plumbing crew are my heroes! With the recent extreme rains, my patio began flooding! It was frightening and during Christmas holidays. I placed a work request for my outdoor drains, and they responded RIGHT AWAY to schedule. Luis arrived promptly as agreed, was pleasant, jumped into the task, and spent much effort attempting to resolve my issue. Unfortunately, it was a HUGE problem which he spent a lot of time in the cold and rain troubleshooting, God Bless Him! He explained all to me and developed a Plan B with estimate options to return the next day with a crew. He and Daniel came back and tackled it, but it was worse than anticipated, as I had NO existing outlet to my storm drain. Luis worked with me (he listened to me) and we created Plan C! Third time was the charm, but MUCH time and effort were needed to carry it out. They were very conscious of my budgetary constraints and factored that in! Daniel returned to carry on with the work and that young man is a dynamo. LONG hours also in the cold, rain, and dark, and he was committed to getting the work done on time as promised! He was pleasant throughout, knew exactly what he was doing, maintained communication with me and Luis, and even to the point of having his office call to alert me when he departed as I didn't hear him knocking. The in-office team is also friendly, professional, and thorough! First class service all the way! Daniel finished the job that needed a hole dug, pipe drilling, cement replacement, and more! Courteous, considerate, knowledgeable, and definitely a company that I would happily do business with again and highly recommend! I am 100% satisfied and have peace of mind knowing that when the rains return (because they will), my patio will drain as it should. Thank you, Daniel, Luis, and the Diamond House Plumbing team! Happy New Year! I also posted my review at Google."

"I bought a hot water heater to replace the one that calcified due to Anaheim water. Technicians : Marty, Parker and Shane were excellent. I would recommend this company RT Olsen Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. They took out my old water heater and halled it away. The new water heater was installed with no problems. I Gave this company and there excellent crew 5 Star"

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

There are several potential causes of a gap at the top of your storm door. For one, your door may naturally start to sag as your house settles over time. Other possible explanations include loose screws, faulty hinges, damaged weatherstripping, or incorrect installation. The right solution for fixing a gap will depend on the cause.

There are several types of storm doors, including vinyl-clad, steel-clad, aluminum, and wood-core, and each type has its own benefits. For example, vinyl-clad storm doors are excellent at keeping out water, while steel-clad storm doors hold up well against high winds. There are also multiple styles of storm doors, ranging from full-view (made entirely of glass) to high-view (with just a small glass panel).

Instead of a security door, you might opt for a heavy-duty screen door made from durable mesh, which allows better sunlight and airflow. Additionally, you could enhance security by installing strong locks on your existing door. A double-cylinder deadbolt provides robust security; however, be aware that some local laws prohibit them due to safety concerns during emergencies.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

The time to install a storm door varies based on who is doing the work and the complexity of the job. Professional installation typically takes a few hours, often between 1 to 2 hours, ensuring a perfect fit. For a DIY project with a standard, pre-hung storm door, you can expect it to take about 3 to 5 hours. However, if the door opening needs to be expanded or significant frame adjustments are required, the installation could take more than a day, in which case hiring a professional is recommended.
