Study the situation, and concluded that it would be very complicated and expensive to run a gas line from the kitchen to the fireplace in the living room due to the high ceiling. A lot of work and expense would be involved. They would have to make holes in my walls in order to run a great amount of piping. I am not interested in the expense or damage to my walls."
