"Great communication between us, my thoughts and design were totally understood. From the start Vic help with my decisions, everything, the dismantling of old rotten shade structure, and organizing the color Concrete crew. He called and was very professional with his approach to project . Honest, prepared, worked all days. A really good fair price, my wife and I are very happy with the entire experience. I'd recommend Central Builders to any friends and Family."
"Overall we had a really good experience with McQueen Construction. Scott was very professional and he managed the project really well. It was a very tight budget and even tighter timeline for the build and they completed everything in record time within our budget, which was incredible. Really nice family owned and operated business I would recommend to anyone in the local area. Cheers!"
"Angel and his team did an amazing job repairing and replacing our deck. They were professional, on time, and the quality of their work was outstanding. The deck looks beautiful, feels solid, and was completed exactly as promised. I highly recommend The AI Construction to anyone looking for quality workmanship!"
"Michael and team did such an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. They took our tiny, dysfunctional bathroom and turned it into a true master bathroom oasis in a short amount of time during the holiday season. When they had the space down to the studs, Michael sat down with us and discussed in detail the best possible use of the space and we couldn’t be happier with our final decision after going through the options. Michael was great at communicating and we still stay in touch to this day, which we truly appreciate. Great team who does great work and I will absolutely be giving Waters Construction a call for any and all future home renovations. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking."
"Vitally is the man!! Customer service out of this world. Craftsmanship 10/10!! This man is an absolute professional. The tools he is equipped with and the knowledge is astounding. I promise you if you hire him you won't be disappointed. I am so pleased with him. Do not hesitate and you will he writing a review the same as mine! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!"
"Matt, Eric and team were great! they were here when they said they'd be here. Matt checked in almost every day even if he wasn't personally on the build that day. They had a "customer is always right" mentality and didn't penny pinch on change orders. Half way through the job Matt realized that the natural gas fire insert installation was more complex than his team's skills. He immediately sourced a specialized contractor to do that part of the job which gave us all a tremendous amount of confidence. The attention to detail was great and nothing was too big or too small to discuss. We are extremely satisfied with the end product. It looks great!"
"We are incredibly pleased with the ADU that United Services built at our home. Glenn and his entire team were professional and responsive from the planning stages through to the finished project. They coordinated the architectural design, building permits, and inspections, ensuring that everything proceeded smoothly. They built the ADU to perfectly match our house, using complementary exterior materials, roofing, flooring, and paint color palettes. The commitment and expertise that each team member and subcontractor applied to their work was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend United Services and would certainly hire them again for any future building projects."
"It Went very well. He and his crew were prompt, even coming later when asked. The product was beautiful, a shiny lightly pattered white flooring which added much to our kitchen. Guy is friendly, communicates well, asked our opinion when needed. Will hire again."
Garage door insulation can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years depending on the type of insulation. Cellulose has the shortest lifespan coming in at between 20 and 30 years, while spray foam, mineral wool, and fiberglass can last between 80 and 100 years with proper maintenance.
Humidity plays a role in how long more susceptible insulation materials—like fiberglass—last. Once fiberglass batts reach the 15-year mark, you'll need to routinely inspect your insulation to ensure that it is in mint order.
It’s best to prevent cold air from entering your garage through the space underneath the garage door. Stop cold air in its tracks by adding or replacing the weatherstripping underneath the door seal. You can also add weatherstripping along the sides and top of the garage door to prevent air leakage, and it’s a relatively easy DIY fix.
If you take caution around fragile garage parts, thawing methods shouldn’t cause problems. Avoid using direct sources of heat too close to the garage door, especially rubber parts.
Another spot to avoid heating is the garage door spring. This powerful metal spring can become very cold in winter. Applying heat to a cold spring increases the chances it could break.
Sliding garage doors aren’t popular because when they can be inconvenient—they require you to leave your car—if they’re manual. But, if they’re automatic, they’re much more expensive than a conventional tilting door. Some find the sliding door less aesthetically pleasing than a tilting or barn door.
A garage extension makes sense if you need more room to work, store your belongings, or park another vehicle. It’s also a smart financial move. As far as the value a garage adds to a home, you can often recoup 75% to 85% of your investment into a garage extension.
