But SoCal Climate Control, was second lowest in price (the lowest was for much lesser quality equipment), but highest in value. I have a home built in the 40's, and while they asked about/ offered other services, it never had the feeling of an up-sale. In fact, they said I was over buying initially (what I asked for). I followed their advise and couldn't be happier. I replace 3 window AC units with a 4 head 3.5 ton mini split system. I had it installed in early May (it is now December) and this had to be the most comfortable summer ever in this house. The units in the bedrooms are so quiet I can hear quartz wall clocks ticking over them. They are also heat pumps, which will also replace my gas wall furnace.
