"The computer technician, Tammy, was excellent.  He arrived on time and was very personable.  Our computer is several years old and has been running slow, so he cleaned it up for us.  He tried to show us how to perform some maintenance tasks on our own.  
After he was finished, he had to call in to the main Geek Choice number to settle the bill.  When I spoke with the person on the phone from Geek Choice, I was astonished when they told me the bill was for $300, which included 2.5 hours service at $100 per hour and a $50 fee for home visit.  I informed her that I had ordered the first hour through Angie's List for $75 and that the home visit fee was waived.  She retrieved my information and charged me a balance of $135, to include the reduced hourly fee of $90 per hour.  So Angie's List saved me almost $100, which I totally appreciate.  
I give the technician high marks but the company, Geek Choice, seems like just another corporation trying to make more money off the consumer than they should.  I'm glad I went through Angie's List.

"The theatre room turned out much better than we expected.  Aaron made suggestions on how to do certain things and was very knowledgable.  Aaron completed the theatre room in just a few days which included adding the second level platform, putting the carpet and baseboards back and installing all the theatre equipment.  In the game room, Aaron installed to 48 inch TV's, surround sound speakers and the home audio system.  Aaron was on time for each project, knew what he was doing and was very helpful.  There were a few other items we needed fixed as we were looking to sell the home and Aaron was willing to come back the next day and help us complete those projects as well.  Once we sold the house and moved into a new home, we once again called Aaron to install the audio equipment and outdoor lighting.  He responded quickly when we reached out to him and the jobs we needed him to do were completed in two days.

"The work Luis and Jose did was exceptional. They arrived ahead of schedule. They were both professional and personable. They made sure everything was done correctly and did not rush. It was a difficult job installing a home theater system in a room were you couldn't route wires in the ceiling or under the floor the whole way, so they got creative. They removed the baseboard, carved space into the walls for the wires and then replaced the baseboards. That is something I never would have thought to do. I was very impressed and will definitely recommend New Wave Home Audio to others, and the next time I will ask for Luis and Jose again."

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

Appointment was made very promptly with secretary who was very nice and friendly. The service person arrived on time on the scheduled date. He was very knowledgeable and informative and gave me all the info I needed. His estimate was very reasonable so I hired them to do my ceiling lights which involved many. The work was done to schedule by Service Call and both my wife and I were very happy with the results. New ceiling lights and dimmer switches galore. I highly recommend them.
