Walt (Pops to most) started in 1972 repairing shoes and handbags. Over time in responding to his customers he has added a broad array of services to better serve his public. We pride ourselves in somewhat an "old fashioned" way of conducting business. We have a habit of getting to know most of our customers, and have a fantastic group that has been visiting us for 40 years. Recently we've added some vacuum services that are second to none in the industry. You can view us on our website, or some of the many videos we've posted on YouTube and others, We're always happy to meet you. Take Care

"We are in the beginning stages of getting ideas for this work and the salesman ignored that understanding and said we needed to sign them up to get the work done in the next 2 to 3 months. They provided some 3D images about 10 days later that provided little value to our decision making process.

Update 1.13.12
I received a call from Tal, their Sales & Marketing Manager, and she apologized for the experience we had and informed me she would refund the $49.  She also stated the salesman was no longer an employee of their company.  Based on my discussion with TAL, I have changed my overall grade of them from a C to a B."

"I pay $75 annually for a certain amount of appliances to be covered. What we didn't know is that you still have to pay a service call fee and if the technician deems the appliance still functional they will not fix it and if the technician says there is nothing wrong with the appliance, they will not fix it. In other words, the appliance has to be completely broken in order for them to fix it."

"the price was negotiable, was a little over my budget but for the quality of the work. I can see why it was the price it was. I have to keep in mind my house isn't not small, so they square footage that is already existing PLUS the addition, made it a lot bigger. I like that the workers were here constantly. Even through out inspections, once it was passed they continued to work. The foreman was also great and would constantly inform me about the stages that were going to come next. As far as the office, i cannot complain. Any concerns i had were resolved right away, and I had constant communication from the coordinator and the accounting side, along with a young lady that would come every week to check up and make sure the job was being ran properly.

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

Like cars, the most expensive part of a dryer is any electrical component, specifically the control board. For newer dryers, this single part, excluding the labor required to replace it, can easily be worth more than half the price of a new unit. While you can sometimes source these more expensive pieces (ask a contractor friend if they have any) when the control board is shot, it’s common to sell the unit for parts and replace it with a new one.

If you’re storing a refrigerator in an unheated space, appliance manufacturers recommend removing all food and items and keeping it unplugged. Additionally, make sure there is no water supply and the icemaker is set to off. After cleaning the interior, you can place a box of baking soda inside and keep the doors propped open so no mold or mildew grows.

Many modern appliance brands make small appliances meant to be replaced rather than repaired, but companies like LG®, GE®, Maytag®, Kitchenaid®, and Whirlpool® stand out as high-quality brands with repairable products. Many of these companies even employ technicians who repair large and small appliances alike, and manufacture replacement parts to make repairs easier. If you’re unsure if it’s best to repair or replace your appliance, ask a professional appliance technician about the brand and specific model.

If your refrigerator has a built-in water dispenser or ice maker, a filter helps cut down on contaminants that may be in the water. It also makes the water and ice taste better. While it isn't as dire of a necessity as other water filtration systems, installing a fridge water filter is still a good idea.

A local small appliance repair company or technician is your best bet if you’re looking for someone to service a small appliance. Homeowners more often look for major appliance repair specialists, meaning the demand is higher, as is the number of companies that handle the repairs. If you’re looking to repair a toaster, microwave, blender, or other small appliance, you should hire a technician that specializes in small appliances.
