Walt (Pops to most) started in 1972 repairing shoes and handbags. Over time in responding to his customers he has added a broad array of services to better serve his public. We pride ourselves in somewhat an "old fashioned" way of conducting business. We have a habit of getting to know most of our customers, and have a fantastic group that has been visiting us for 40 years. Recently we've added some vacuum services that are second to none in the industry. You can view us on our website, or some of the many videos we've posted on YouTube and others, We're always happy to meet you. Take Care

"We are in the beginning stages of getting ideas for this work and the salesman ignored that understanding and said we needed to sign them up to get the work done in the next 2 to 3 months. They provided some 3D images about 10 days later that provided little value to our decision making process.

Update 1.13.12
I received a call from Tal, their Sales & Marketing Manager, and she apologized for the experience we had and informed me she would refund the $49.  She also stated the salesman was no longer an employee of their company.  Based on my discussion with TAL, I have changed my overall grade of them from a C to a B."

"I pay $75 annually for a certain amount of appliances to be covered. What we didn't know is that you still have to pay a service call fee and if the technician deems the appliance still functional they will not fix it and if the technician says there is nothing wrong with the appliance, they will not fix it. In other words, the appliance has to be completely broken in order for them to fix it."

"the price was negotiable, was a little over my budget but for the quality of the work. I can see why it was the price it was. I have to keep in mind my house isn't not small, so they square footage that is already existing PLUS the addition, made it a lot bigger. I like that the workers were here constantly. Even through out inspections, once it was passed they continued to work. The foreman was also great and would constantly inform me about the stages that were going to come next. As far as the office, i cannot complain. Any concerns i had were resolved right away, and I had constant communication from the coordinator and the accounting side, along with a young lady that would come every week to check up and make sure the job was being ran properly.

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

HVAC systems use the most household electricity. This major and essential system is responsible for heating and cooling your home all year round. Since they operate for a significant amount during the day, it consumes more energy than other appliances.

The average lifespan of a dryer is typically 10 to 15 years. This range is highly dependent on several factors, including the dryer's type, quality, frequency of use, and how well it is maintained. A heavily used machine may only last five years, while a well-maintained one could last 20 years or more.

Factors that can shorten a dryer's lifespan include heavy use, drying improper items like shoes or very heavy loads, clogged lint traps and exhaust vents, buildup on the dryer drum, and an overworked heating element.

To extend your dryer's life, it is crucial to perform regular maintenance. This includes cleaning the lint trap after every use and ensuring the exterior vent is clear of debris. For more thorough cleaning and repairs, consider hiring a local dryer technician as needed.

If you have a stainless steel appliance and notice a scratch, your first instinct might be to panic. There’s no need to reconsider your appliance choices—minor scratches are an unfortunate but totally normal part of stainless steel wear-and-tear.

Stainless steel is practically rust-resistant, though if you have many hairline scratches (or a significant deep scratch), it is more likely to become discolored and potentially start to form rust if bacteria gets in the scratches.

In some cases, yes, portable air conditioners are worth buying. They’re a relatively affordable option for cooling small spaces. (On average, they cost between $100 and $500 per unit.) Plus, they’re easy to set up, and you can move them around to cool various parts of your home as needed. However, they aren’t the most efficient AC option, and they tend to be noisy.

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
