"Kevin works with an extensive team of seasoned professionals who know their craft. Everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful throughout.
We went over our initial budget, partly because some electrical problems from an earlier renovation arose that needed repairing, and partly because we added a number of bells and whistles after the initial estimate. But for example, the custom maple cabinetry cost far less than we were quoted elsewhere and included a lot of special touches, such as an appliance garage, a cutlery drawer, and a pull-out, multi-shelf spice drawer.
At each step in the process, Kevin kept us apprised of costs and got our approval before any work was done. And for all the extras we requested during construction, we had a brand-new kitchen just a couple of days after the original estimated completion date. We couldn?t be happier with the results. Every remodeling job has its glitches and challenges, and ours was no exception, but Kevin went the extra mile to make sure were getting our dream kitchen. And in the end, that?s exactly what we got. Our new kitchen is a joy to cook in ? and we have Kevin and his team to thank for that.

"If you're looking for a reliable, honest contractor that has great design sense and an incredible work ethic, look no further. This was my first remodel and I was really nervous after hearing so many contractor horror stories from others. I feel like I hit the jackpot with SGI and the team. They guided me through the whole process and the end result was exactly what I wanted in my dream kitchen and bathroom. Every day of our project I would come home to a clean workspace and progress was made on schedule. With two little kids in the house that meant everything."

"Before remodel, we had 1440sqft of living space; afterward we had 1891sqft, but it made the whole house "work" better and feel bigger. Also, the roof space increased by 1,000sqft, which enatiled much more work than the additional 450sqft represents.
We feel lucky to have found Anthony Fiore as our contractor. He was recommended to me by a friend at work, and he made the entire project as pain-free as it could be. He stayed in constant communication with us, worked with us on changes in scope, and helped find reasonable and affordable solutions to unforeseen problems.
We spent a lot of time up front thinking about what we wanted, getting information on materials and other costs, and assessing our financial risk. We even created a 3D model of our house and fiddled with it for a good year so we could see the impacts of the structural changes to the existing house and evaluate approaches to problems. (Here, I have to plug the fabulous FREE modeling app we used, which was Google Sketchup.)
Maybe that's overkill, but it enabled us to try different things, know the limitations, and do our own rough calc on what we should expect to pay for materials. But mostly, we figured that since remodelling a house is a huge hassle and a seriuoous expense--and WE were the ones who would have to live witht the results--we wanted to give ourselves every opportunity to explore the potential upsides and the possible downsides.
We then put together a package of dimensioned views and requested bids from 5 contractors. Each bidder had the EXACT same package to use for their bid, but they still came in with a $50K spread between the highest and lowest bids.
Like most people, we chose the lowest bid, but only after calling all 10 of his references and getting glowing reviews of his attention to detail and his excellent management of the project. He was also the only one who provided references with his initial bid.
After we engaged Fiorebuilt, we modified the scope to include vaulted ceilings, an upgraded electric panel and upgraded roofing materials--all of which increased the price considerably, yet it was still well below the two highest original bids, which did not even include that work. So we were confident that we could tolerate (financially) the remaining uknown risks.
Our final calculation of the cost per sqft, when considering the extra roofing footprint and work done on on walls that went down to studs came in at what we'd expected to pay when we started the project. And what people often forget is that time plays a huge role in how well the project goes. Anthony's crew showed up every day, on time and worked hard. Between his management of the project and their diligent effort we are one week away from finished after just 11 weeks. That is a HUGE boon to us!
Because we're pretty handy, we planned to do some parts of the work ourselves to save cost--like running Cat5 wire and coax through the walls, setting the fireplace and stove vents, and similar "detail" work. We made sure Anthony was always aware of our plans and he worked to accommodate all of our many (many!) reqests. He offered advice and recommended resources as needed. He even came out on a Sunday to check out some plumbing we'd done to make sure it was up to code and wouldn't interfere with the work he was doing.
In sum, I'm taking the time and trouble to write this review because we've all heard horror stories about bad remodel experiences. I want people to know that there are some contractors who can make it a worthwhile endeavor. I think of Fiorebuilt as the "gold standard." I know that from now on, if we want anything done to our house, Anthony Fiore will be our first phone call--and probably the only call we'll need to make.
If anyone belongs on the Pages of Happiness, Fiorebuilt Construction certainly DOES!"

"Sometimes you need some luck and sometimes a sharp eye, but look what happens when the two meet:We bought an apartment 1500 sqf at a bargain price and I needed a major overhaul, I heard about David and his work from my friend the he built him a hose from scratch, I got the phone and immediately had a great chemistry between us we received bids from different contractors, but with David I had a feeling he will answer all needs. The renovation cost: $100,000 which included the demolition of most of the interior walls, replacing flooring, installing new infrastructure of electricity, lighting, air conditioning and plumbing, new kitchen and adding a specially designed furniture.David's team quickly begin to break down the inner walls David's vision was a large bedroom and luxurious bathroom including parents and reading corner, an open kitchen and bar seating includes practical and accommodation, large spacious living room, large dining area and family room. In addition, large rooms and private white, can shower and General Services for the guests. In terms of conceptual design, it was important for me to keep straight lines and clean, the feeling of space and a feeling of warmth in a family. To meet my expectations, and because of the limited flat space, David proposed to increase the area of the apartment at the expense of the balconies. We broke most of the interior walls of the house. Even the lighting fixtures designed specifically modern artistic style with touches of classical properties: Crystals and touches of gold paint on a white background. In addition, we combined graphic art as an integral part of the building, which gave the house a sense of warmth and luxury. Large tile flooring was replaced to give the apartment a sense of size and distance. The kitchen and living room: kitchen, dining room and living room were combined into one public. Separation of the different functions was used for lighting and furniture games with attendance.Living room wall made of wood painted with epoxy, which is the heart of the house. Because an area of relatively large kitchen, we chose not white but elegant cream-colored.Children's rooms were located at the right side of the apartment, separated by a modest family room and hallway. Each room is designed in an atmosphere that suits his tenant. The children's bathroom alone dared to break the outline of the house and use dramatic colors and contrast of black and white. Our bedroom located on the left side of the apartment, away from children. The bedroom area was increased at the expense of the porch, and created his balcony option. David has created us and romantic spacious suite includes spacious shower and toilet separated by a designed glass door , and a reading corner with a view. We selected bedroom brick shades to get reflection from the color of the walls (light coffee color) that made the furniture look white with creamy caress. Sticker pasted on the wall with vinyl graphic print specially designed by the company's graphic designer. My favorite element is flat plasma wall, 20" long, special order - wall both functional and design. This is a piece of furniture joinery painted white epoxy. I trusted David with closed eyes and I got a pleasant surprise. All phases of renovation we knew only in general terms what is going to be and I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome."

"What they promised and what they planned to deliver were two different things. Eventually, we were able to ge twhat we expected. However, it required a tremendous amount of patience and perserverance. We had to get the owner (Joseph) involved, and only after threatening to withhold payment, was the job completed the way it was promised. We were pleased with the final result, but felt pretty beat up by the process. Part of the problem may be cultural differences in style of communication. Joseph seems to have high values and expectations, but he suggested that our crew was not yet up to the high bar he sets for his company. We do love our kitchen."

"They were awesome. We had a remodel done and they are going to come back and finish up some job. Him and his son were the hardest workers. They were really good. They came early in the morning and they stayed until the job was done. They did not even call off early. They worked so hard, because they did not want my house torn up for a long time. We looked for a long time for framers and they were so good. I was very happy with them. They called when they said they would call. If they were late, they would call and let us know; not very many people do that. We would definitely recommend them. They gave us the best quote out of everybody. We looked for four years for somebody and we had outrageous quotes. We were able to do the whole thing under $10,000 and that was our number, and we had people quote us double that. They did not think this job was too small for them, they did not care, they took it."

Installing an outdoor water fountain costs $2,700 on average, not including the cost of the unit. Prices range from $150 to $10,650, depending on your location, the type of fountain, size, and accessibility to the site. Self-contained fountains and water features recirculate the water within the unit. Depending on size and features like multi-tiered cascading bowls, they typically cost from $50 to $5,000. More elaborate fountains with waterfalls and ponds can cost from $450 to $10,000 or more.
Every one to three months, you should perform regular fountain maintenance, including draining, cleaning, and rinsing the components of your fountain basin and the pump and tubing to prevent algae and other buildup. Fountain maintenance also includes keeping the appropriate water level and removing debris like leaves, insects, and twigs from the water to avoid clogging the pump. You can also hire a professional landscaper to clean your fountain for around $50 to $150 per month on average.
Most water features do not use a lot of electricity, averaging between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the motor can impact electricity usage. To reduce electricity usage, consider using a timer to turn the fountain off at night and when you’re away from your home. Solar power is another way to defray electricity costs after you recoup the cost of installing the solar components.
You can choose several types of fountains to add to your backyard, ranging in size, number of basins, and special water features.
Check out the price ranges of common fountain types:
Birdbath fountains: $40 to $1,100

Tiered fountains: $100 to $6,000
