"Scott and his associate showed up on time and assessed the job and gave me the price and details on what would be involved. Because the living room wall is shared with the garage they were able to cut into the sheetrock thru the garage side and I didn't need to touch up any paint on the interior side. Additionally, a ceiling fan was installed."

"Mr. Parks and his workers were thorough, polite and efficient. My gutters were full and badly clogged because of several years of neglect. They removed all debris from my roof and dug out the gutters by hand until they got water freely flowing through the downspouts. It was a positive experience from beginning to end."

"All I can say is WOW!!!! They did such an amazing job, I just LOVE my new Kitchen. I interviewed and received several quotes from contractors but I Chose SGB because the quote was good, and Kevin could really see my vision. The crew arrived when promised and completed my project just under schedule. The crew was friendly and professional and they made sure to clean up after themselves. I m so happy that Kevin had patience with me, I must have changed my mind a dozen times. :) but in the end I got the kitchen I dreamed of."

"If you're looking for a reliable, honest contractor that has great design sense and an incredible work ethic, look no further. This was my first remodel and I was really nervous after hearing so many contractor horror stories from others. I feel like I hit the jackpot with SGI and the team. They guided me through the whole process and the end result was exactly what I wanted in my dream kitchen and bathroom. Every day of our project I would come home to a clean workspace and progress was made on schedule. With two little kids in the house that meant everything."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Frogs may love your yard and want to take up residence for several reasons. Yards can offer a moist environment or access to water. Frogs also eat insects—your yard may offer a steady stream of their preferred diet, such as grasshoppers, crickets, fruit flies, and more.

How many fish can call your pond home depends on the volume of the pond and the fish size. Your pond's filtration system also influences the number of fish that will thrive in a pond. A general rule of thumb is to have 1 inch of fish for every square foot in a pond that's 2 feet deep. Another rule of thumb you can follow is to have one koi fish for every 200 gallons of water or two goldfish for every 200 gallons.

Yes, it is possible to make a fountain without a pump, though it may seem less intuitive and will require a bit more effort to use. In lieu of an electric pump, there are a few options including hand-cranked pumps or sprinkler systems that can work to provide water for a fountain.

Most home misters use several cups of water in a couple of minutes, or around a gallon per hour of use. That varies greatly depending on the size of the system and the power of the pump. If you are using professional services, you should ask about water use for your planned system when you’re getting an estimate. If you are using a water tank, make sure it’s filled before operation.

Algae growth is a common issue for misters, but you can do several things to prevent it. First, use a sealed water tank with distilled or filtered water to fuel your misters. Second, blow out the misters after every use so no water is left in the tubing. Third, thoroughly clean the misting system every several weeks of use at minimum during the warmest months. Third, wherever possible positioning tubing and the water tank away from direct sunlight and in the coolest areas possible.
