"The Approved Contractors team met my expectations for a solid contracting company to remove the aging, cracked rock on the front of my house, put insulation where it was missing, and put on a new stucco exterior that closely matched the stucco texture of the rest of the house."

"I can not tell you how happy I am with Arrow Building! Five stars are not enough. From day one, Terry (senior) came out, analyzed what I needed, gave me a quote, and was ready when I called. The workers were exceptional! John and Kevin can not be beat. They were here on time, worked steadily all day, told me what they were doing and what they would be doing the next day. They cleaned up every night and made sure there was nothing I needed done, very solicitous. At least once a day, and often several times a day, Terry II was here to see how things were going. I had stucco repair done and you can not even see where the repair work blends with the old stucco. The painting was top-notch. I had a window washer in today who said he would never seen such a good paint job around windows! They painted the patio overhead and a pergola and they look wonderful! Am I happy? YES!!!"

"Eric did a great job while giving me my quote. He was very knowledgeable and found some issues with my siding that I hadnt noticed yet. He showed me the product that DaBella was offering and the differences in other siding materials. He worked very hard to make the siding replacement quote affordable and fit all of our needs. I cannot wait to get the new siding."

The entire crew was awesome, this process takes approx. 3 weeks from start to finish as they are restoring your house to a newer than new look with a 25 Year warranty on the Rhino Shield Product and their Labor. The Workers are all pleasant and show up on time, work hard all day and get the Job done right, they are meticulous when it comes to the work they are doing, from sanding and filling of the trim to trenching and treating the Concrete foundation. They are extremely clean and make sure the Sidewalks and other components around the house are not disturbed, An example is they recoated the garage door at the end because there was a slight variation in color, to be honest when they showed it to me I could not see the color Variation but they wanted everything perfect., Our job crew leader worked tirelessly to make sure every little detail was Handled, they even worked with the Rain gutter Contractor and the Gate builder so as to make sure all the time lines flowed together, I would recommend their services to all of my friends and colleges if you want your home to look better than New!

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Neutral colors like white, tan, beige, and light brown are the most popular stucco colors. Natural stucco has a grayish color due to the high concentration of Portland cement in the material, but most homeowners have their contractors add pigments to create a more inviting appearance. Stucco is most popular in hotter climates, where it provides ample insulation to regulate interior temperatures and keep the solar heat out. Since lighter colors reflect more sunlight, lighter stucco is more prevalent.

The best tape that works on stucco is the kind made explicitly for stucco surfaces. Look for tape that specifies stucco, masonry, or cement installations. The adhesive usually needs to be thicker and more durable to remain stuck to these rough surfaces.

Yes, professionals can color-match new or repaired stucco to existing finishes to ensure a seamless and uniform appearance. While most providers offer this service, it is recommended to confirm with them beforehand.

While your stucco repair professional can diagnose exactly what needs repair, it can be helpful to know what to look out for in the early stages to avoid significant reconstruction. Some common stucco repairs include:

  • Cracks

  • Holes

  • Ceiling repair

  • Chimney repair

  • Stucco removal

  • Discoloration

  • Caulking

  • Water damage

  • Foundation repair

Choosing between traditional and synthetic stucco depends on your specific needs, budget, and climate. Both options are durable, but synthetic stucco includes an extra layer that makes it more resistant to cracking and a better choice for climates with extreme weather. In hot, dry climates with less rainfall, traditional stucco is a suitable and more affordable option that is less likely to trap moisture. Synthetic stucco also offers more color options and requires less maintenance.
