"Dan contacted within minutes of posting my job. He asked if he could stop by to check out the job seeing as how he was close by, I said he could. He arrived about 20 minutes later, checked out the job and asked if I would like to have it done right away and I said yes, Dan he would, he left to get the required tools and required materials. Dan returned in less than an hour later and started the job. Dan finished the job in less than about an hour (I'm jessing, I didn't time it). I was very impressed with Dan's Professionalism and Expertise. I would definitely call Dan for any future jobs that may come up in the future."

"Dylan was amazing! He came to do a screen repair and ended up fixing our screen, the door lock, and our front door lock, all for the price of 1. And he is coming back to do more because of what a great job he did! So def recommend! Great prices! He even came fast too! Told us it would be a day but ended up coming the same day! Thanks Dylan :)"

"Our roof was in bad shape and we needed to have it replaced. I had gotten estimates and decided to go with Home Pro Remodeling. Emil and Brian were our contact people for the project. Emil was very professional and paid attention to our concerns. He worked with us through the entire project to our complete satisfaction. Brian is extremely courteous and helpful as well! The project went very smoothly, was completed before the initial project end date, and the results were beyond our expectations. The job turned our beautifully! Our new roof looks FANTASTIC! Our neighbors have commented to us how great it looks. We are very pleased with our experience with Home Pro Remodeling and would definitely recommend them."

"Alex recently completed several projects around my home, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the results! He installed new light fixtures, repaired drywall, fixed several plumbing issues, installed luxury vinyl plank flooring, and completed a long list of handyman repairs that we'd been putting off for months. What impressed me most was his attention to detail, professionalism, and how clean he kept the work area throughout the project. Every repair was completed correctly the first time, and he took the time to explain everything before starting. The quality of his workmanship truly shows. If you're looking for a dependable handyman for electrical repairs, plumbing, & home maintenance, I highly recommend Mr. Fix It Services. Honest, reliable, reasonably priced, and committed to doing quality work."

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

To treat sun-damaged furniture, clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt and debris. Next, assess the damage: Consider refinishing or applying a protective sealant for faded finishes. Apply furniture oil or conditioner to restore moisture to cracked or dry wood. Remember, the best way to treat your furniture is to prevent damage in the first place. Regular maintenance and preventive measures will keep your furniture looking its best. Lastly, it may be best to consult a professional furniture restorer or refinisher for expert repairs and restoration in severe cases.

Yes, vinegar can break down the adhesive bond, effectively dissolving the glue from wood. It will be much easier to wipe away. Vinegar’s acidity, which helps to make it an effective all-purpose cleaner, can also aid in removing adhesive with less chance of damaging the wood and finish than more aggressive solvents.

You should consider the time needed to clean and prepare your bedroom set for transit. A few days before moving, vacuum, dust, and clean your furniture with a mild cleaning solution. Depending on the movers and the services you pick, you might need to pre-pack the mattress and box spring in boxes designed for beds and disassemble some furniture by removing doors and hardware. Finally, don’t forget to take plenty of pictures documenting the pre-move condition in case you need to file a claim.

Signs your chair frame may need repairs include wobbling, creaking, visible cracks, or loose joints. A professional upholsterer will inspect the frame during the prep stage and recommend necessary repairs, which may add to the overall cost but ensure a longer-lasting result. Your upholsterer may be able to repair your frame for you, or they may refer you to a furniture repair specialist, depending on your chair’s needs.

Paper moving pads, also called furniture wrapping paper or paper moving blankets, are sheets of recycled paper used to protect various items during moving. Similar to traditional moving blankets, paper pads are also reusable, making them a sustainable and cost-effective option for protecting your belongings during the moving process. Although they’re recycled, they still provide excellent protection against dust, dirt, and scratches.
