"On a home built in 1957 Approved Contractor Inc (ACI) installed new construction windows and sliding glass doors, stripped the house of old siding, removed old plywood sheathing and old insulation, and then insulated and stuccoed the house. What was important was not only finding a reputable construction company, but also one that would coordinate the total project. The added benefits were quality work and high-end material, at a competitive price. Of note, was the stucco method (4 layers-coats - scratch, brown, finish and texture). The texture coat is an elastomeric paint (color of my choosing) that is water repellent, reflective and provides an even color on the walls - with a lifetime warranty. Other stucco contractors stop on the finish coat, with the color in stucco. In addition ACI uses its own subcontractors. ACI was professional, flexible, and did really great work. ACI was a superb choice."

"The company performed the exterior stucco work only after the owner cautioned me that stucco was not their specialty and the finished surface might not match with the surrounding area. He was correct -- the finished surface is only a fair match, but I can't really complain because he did warn me that could happen. The interior drywall work is a very different story. Here is my advice to prospective customers: If your drywall is painted white -- the same color as the surface texturing compound -- then before the work is done, make a note to yourself of where the holes are. Because after this crew is finished, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND THEM. Simply amazing."

Oscar is clearly an expert in his field and took the time and care to complete all work with an exceptional degree of workmanship. He was able to perfectly blend the new stucco to the older paint and texture and he painted larger areas than were originally discussed in order for the work to look seamless. Over the 3 days, the work areas were cleaned up neatly at the end of the day and Oscar made a point of saying hello and goodbye each day, which might seem like a small thing however speaks to the professionalism displayed. We could not be happier, and we would not hesitate to hire the Painting Company again. Highly recommend!"

"Needed stucco repair along one side of my house. Contacted company in
July. Set a date for work in early August. Repairs delayed by mutual
agreement of homeowner and contractor. Tried to re-set new work date but
found contractor's phone disconnected. Finally received follow-up call a
few days later. Set new date.  Contractor came and began work with a quoted price of $530.00. After removing stucco along most of the side of the house, was told that stucco was bad. Work was completed in one (7) hours session and another (2) session the following day. Contractor late arriving each time. Had to leave job site to acquire materials. work was completed to home owner satisfaction. However the final price was $220.00 higher that original bid.
