"The job went very well. John worked with us by performing the work over three move-ins so that we were able to use most of our house during the process. The level of quality is very good including cement floated floors over wood and hot mop tar for waterproofing in the shower. The layout for the tile pattern was right on and Johns recommendations are good and should followed. I am a licensed contractor in another trade so I have a good understanding of doing a job right with a critical eye for workmanship."

"First of all, this guy is a certificated ARBORIST! He knows trees!  This was very important to me.  I didn't want "some guy with a chainsaw" to tell me the trees had to come down.  
After looking over the trees and their location, he told me that the trees would continue their secondary growth and that growth would push up the pavers in the yard, and even if the pavers were reinstalled the secondary growth would push them up again over time.  He gave me some options to consider.
He is based out of central Orange County and because of distance, he declined to do work in Bellflower which was disappointing.

After receiving  home improvement magazine in the mail, my husband and I decided that it was time we had our bathroom remodeled. We had called a few companies and one of them just happened to be "your Favorite  Contractor", with a name like that how could you not want to call. We called them up to set up an appointment and had a time set for a design consultation. We met with Mike the head designer and let me tell you, I was delighted by the ideas and suggestion he had come up with, as opposed to others he listened to what we wanted and just tweaked the design to make it more user friendly, even the price was appealing. we then set a date to start and two weeks later we had a completed new bathroom that we just love. "Wesley was on time to bid the job. He listened, gave ideas and recommendations and open to what we were trying to accomplish. Very patient with all our questions. He kept us appraised of his schedule because of all the rain this year. First day and every day thereafter he and his crew arrived as scheduled, they worked hard, explaining what doing or needed to be done as the job went along. Suggested we think about adding a couple of trees to balance out the yard and we agreed. Matched the planter color to the existing wall and it looks like it has always been there. "From the time I contacted Kevin to the time the job was completed, SGB was fantastic.  I needed a very small master bathroom in an old house gutted and built from the ground up.  As this is a rental, my budget was very limited.  Kevin told me what he could do and what I would provide so he could meet the price I requested.  Kevin, along with his team worked miracles.  There were some plumbing issues that came up and Kevin handled all of them by communicating with me and giving me honest and accurate estimates of how much time this would put us back.  Not living in the house while the work was being performed was a new thing for me and I was nervous about workers being in the home when I was not.  My fears were unfounded.  Kevin and his team only used the french door leading to the bedroom and taped the bedroom door closed so dust and people couldn't use the rest of the house.  The work site was kept spotless.
The master bath turned out more beautifully than I could have imagined.  Amazing results with the budget I gave him.   As with any project, things go wrong ~ and they did in this case also. The door was put on "backwards", swinging the opposite way we had talked about.  I called Kevin and he was out there within a couple days to completely redo it.  It was a whole day job and he and his team completed it beautifully and timely, even though I know it affected his schedule.  I plan to use SGB for renovations to my new home.  Thank you Kevin and Angelo and team.
