Wesley was on time to bid the job. He listened, gave ideas and recommendations and open to what we were trying to accomplish. Very patient with all our questions. He kept us appraised of his schedule because of all the rain this year. First day and every day thereafter he and his crew arrived as scheduled, they worked hard, explaining what doing or needed to be done as the job went along. Suggested we think about adding a couple of trees to balance out the yard and we agreed. Matched the planter color to the existing wall and it looks like it has always been there. The yard looks terrific and very happy with it. Wesley and his crew were great, a pleasure doing business with them, and would hire him again.

It was done professionally, quickly and the service was great. They went over and above what we originally contracted for and they were great to work with. We would recommend them to anyone needing their yard landscaped.

Wesley and his Sierra ***** Landscape crew are great! We started to redo our backyard when we moved into our house in Monrovia, but we got too busy and didn't know how to approach the space, so our backyard has spent the last year and a half filled with dirt, weeds, and leftover bits of concrete and rock from our cleanup work. We finally decided to call a pro, so we gave Wesley a call. He listened to our wishes, drew up a landscape plan at no cost, and provided a reasonable quote for all of the work. He was very communicative during the early process to get the plan and budget where we wanted. Within a week and a half he and his crew demolished the existing cement patio, repaved, weeded, leveled the yard out, added a drip system for our fruit trees and any future plantings, laid down sod and a sprinkler system, and added wood chips. Our yard looks amazing! He was easy to talk to throughout the whole process and his crew was efficient and clean. He has also come back up multiple times since completion to check on the project and the watering on our new grass - it's clear he cares about his work and his customers. Couldn't recommend the team more!

Wes and his crew have worked with us before (May 2016 - see prior review ) so our expectations were high based on the prior high-quality experience. They exceeded our high expectations in terms of quality and time to get the job done. His description of his company states 'we build your dreams' and this could not be more accurate. We thought about this space for quite some time and had very specific requests about building materials (we wanted Ipe hardwood and particular stones and particular lights and a particular avocado tree!). He took our poorly drawn sketch and turned it into our dream side yard. Turned out as we expected only the color of the wood really pops and looks amazing against the rock. As with the last job, he pays attention to all of the unseen structural details - the stepping stones are all cemented in and level, the planters - while appearing to be above ground - are all anchored and level. This team really does pay attention to detail and doesn't just throw things together. I have to say - I did not even bother getting a competing bid because our prior experience with Wes was so great and we are so happy with the quality of the work. We'll have him out one more time for a final project we have planned in a year or two - have to dream it up! I told Wes he is always welcome to use our yard as a 'reference' - it is a dream come true space.

     Wes is the owner of the company and is hands-on at every juncture.  He and his crew were professional and responsive.  His initial bid was about 20% more than comparable, but we elected to go with his company as we were interested in a high-quality build.  I must say - I believe we got more than what we paid for.  The finished product is amazing.  The quality of Wes' work is unmatched.  He makes sure that everything is done right - down to all the structural and grading details that may not be evident from the surface. 
     It took three months for him to start our job, but he was up front and honest about this when he gave us the bid.  He states that he only takes one job on at a time and I can confirm that this is the case as his crew was at our house almost every day.  I say almost every day since our job had a number of delays by the heavy rains this winter.  Our yard used to mini-flood with each heavy rain making it difficult to do any construction in when wet.  The drainage now is amazing with no more lakes in our yard after the rain.  
     He worked with us on all the details of the design including grass and plant selection, stone selection (pavers, stone for the side of the island, and granite for the top of the island), and light selection.  The building inspector commented on how well the gas lines, water pipes, drainage, and electrical were done.  We have a new house and the project construction superintendent came over to see what we were doing and commented "wow, this guy does things the right way".  
     There were several curveballs that popped up throughout the job that Wes dealt with very professionally.  There were delays due to rain as mentioned, but also due to the granite fabricator making an error and the granite had to be completely re-cut and re-done (no additional cost to us of course) and the built-in BBQ had to then be tweaked to fit the re-cut granite.  Wes was sure to fix everything and his words were always "I want you to be completely happy with everything".  I certainly am.  I will be using his company again in the future for sure as we also have a side yard to do later this year.   
      I am not sure to convey how impressed I am with the quality of work and professionalism that Wes and his company deliver.  Don't dismiss the higher price of his bid.  You get what you pay for.  I have neighbors that used cut-rate contractors and they have had major headaches and are not happy with their experiences.  I am happy to tell Wes that I am completely happy with my experience.

We were disappointed that the provider re-scheduled an appointment with us (for today) and was a no-show/gave us no cancellation notification. We also followed up with a phone call to the provider 1/2 hour after our scheduled appointment time today and left message on voicemail.
We saw the provider's good recommendations on Angie's List, liked the work we saw on the provider's web site, and heard first-hand from another proprietor of a nursery that the company did excellent work. Initial and follow up (in which the provider cancelled our first appointment) phone calls were professional.

He was too busy to make an appointment for several weeks. I needed the work done asap (new home owner)  so I asked him to drive by , look at the front and call me with an estimate. A week later I called to remind him. He did drive by, gave me an estimate, but honestly it did me no good because I needed not only a drip system in the front, back and both sides and cleanup of the whole place. He sounded like a very nice person, but too busy to help me out in a timely manor. This is a very busy time for all people in this industry, so when things calm down, you all should give him a call.

We had a blank canvas with a few design details in place for a major drought-tolerant landscaping overhaul for our Mid Century Modern house that had recently been renovated. We needed someone to fit the bill who was knowledgeable about irrigation & plants, affordable, efficient and above all flexible so that we could see our vision realized. We got several quotes and chose Wesley's Sierra M**** Landscaping Co based on our above criteria. Not only that, but Wesley came up with the most cost effective way to implement a system without having to rip up our driveway. Furthermore, his quote was reasonably priced and itemized in a way that allowed us to "pick and choose. He appeared to be flexible -- and was -- in terms of potential changes. In short, Wesley and his crew did not disappoint. I should also add that weeks later when a surprise leak sprung up, we called Wesley and he promptly fixed it. The overall was stress-free, and we couldn't give a higher recommendation to Sierra M**** Landscaping!

I evaluated a few landscape contractors to install according to plan.  I chose Wesley since he was personable and professional.  He didn't necessarily have the best bid, but I felt other things such as supporting local contractors and quality and detail of work was equally as important. 
He was forthcoming about the start date being 2 months out, but I realized Wesley would be in the trenches with his crew and involved through the entire process. 
I found a pergola design online that my wife and I really liked and showed it to Wesley.  Sierra M**** Landscape was able to match the design identically and also helped with the permit process.
Overall the project was completed on time to projection.  I found Wesley to be detail oriented and the newly installed concrete, pavement, landscape, and pergolas were done very well.  I've had numerous compliments from friends and family and we absolutely love it.  Wesley followed everything to plan or at least recommended better options.  I would use Sierra M**** Landscape again.

Their work were pretty fast. No delay or stalling. Finished their jobs on schedule. Good communication via emails. They will do whatever we want and do not want.

I requested appointment for estimate from the company on March 6 . Wesley came on the 12th. Got an initial estimate for lawn and paver in the back yard only. This estimate was under the presumption that I will cut off the Chinese elm tree in the backyards where I want to have the paver installed. Initially we were to start the project in June because of his busy schedule. He found an opening in April 21 for me. I was very happy about that. Before we started, I changed my mind about the tree. I wanted to keep it. I also counsel him about two problems I had with regard of the walkway on the side being too narrow in the front and there was drainage problem issue. He came up with a great idea to solve my problems by raising the level of the back yard and graded down thru the walk way to the front. This way we don't have to worry about the surface root of my Chinese Elm tree ruining the pavers also.
I found Wesley very easy to talk to and is eager to help me. I totally trusted his judgement. We communicated via e-mail most of the time. He is the best contractor I worked with. I interviewed 4 others contractors before him. His team came on time everyday. Wesley supervise them everyday and also worked with them(hand on). They finished on schedule and clean up before they leave. They did an excellent job. My backyard had never looks so good. I will have many happy days enjoying my nice back yard with my family thanks to their great work. I definitely recommend this company to everyone who need landscape work done.

Wesley is wonderful to work with.  He is very professional in discussing the plans for the work we needed.  He and his crew were punctual every morning and cleaned up before they left for the day.  The lawn looks wonderful and the sprinklers work beautifully.  The water coverage is excellent and I do not expect any issues during the hot summer months.  As promised, he checked back
every few days to make sure the new grass was growing and the sprinklers were functioning properly.  He adjusted the sprinkler
timer accordingly before the 30 days expired.  I highly recommend Sierra M**** Landscaping.

Siera M**** came on time to our property, spend fair amount of time looking over the landscaping conditions and discussed some options. The total experience lasted about 1.5 hour. The gentlemen was very friendly, listen patiently, and took good notes of what we wanted. They also provided some practice advice in what we needed since our place is very heavily shaded and limits our choices of plants. Overall, I learned quite a lot from the consultation session.
A cost estimated arrived in one week (without me having to remind them), which is fairly detailed.
In the end our board of director did not select their proposal so I cannot speak as to the actual quality of their work. But our experience with this contractor during the initial consultation has been positive, they are on time, responsive and professional. 

Wesley was extremely responsive from the very beginning answering the email from my query through his website. We discussed what I wanted and he provided suggestions (like the permeable pavers) that I would not have thought of but also supported my ideas. He provided the quote with a start date that was further out than I was hoping for, however, all the reviews that I had seen on his company were enthusiastic about his capabilities and his adherance to the schedule he committed to. He sounded like just the person I wanted to pay to work on this - so waiting was what I did. A few weeks prior to the start date I asked for some modifications to the plan not knowing how well that would be received but he was fine and we worked through some options and came up with a final plan. As the start date came closer I was concerned that there had been some rain that might postpone my start date - but every time I emailed to check, he said, we're still on schedule. So they started when stated and actually finished a bit early. I am so glad I found his company and am so pleased with the results. I hope to be able to employ them again and highly recommend them.
