"I found this company on Angie's List and called for an estimate to remove accoustic ceilings. Brad came out promptly, looked over the job and gave written estimate. Cost and date to do the work were agreed on over the phone a few days later. When workers arrived at my home and were shown the job, they called Brad. I was handed the phone, and Brad told me he had underbid the job because he didn't realize we had plaster ceilings. Job would be $400 more than his written estimate. I was told I would see a sample of what the new ceilings would look like, since they would look different than the ones agreed upon. Since workers were already at my house and I was anxious to get the job done, I agreed to new price. Job was completed without my ever being shown a sample or picture of what finished ceilings would look like. The ceilings look ok, but they don't match the other ceilings in my home. When I paid for the job, I asked for a written receipt for the work that was actually done. The worker wrote the amount paid on my copy of original estimate and told me Brad would send something in the mail that reflected a more accurate record of the work done. I never received anything or heard from anyone again."
