"I hired Houses Are Us to do a deep clean before our move-out inspection. I described the job over the phone to the best of my ability and answered all of their questions honestly so that they could assess the job. I was skeptical when they turned down the offer to see the house before determining how many cleaners and hours it would take. In the end, the two assigned cleaning people took longer than expected to do the house, and left many surfaces untouched. Wall switches, door frames, and doors were still kid-smudged. The kitchen cabinets above the stove were still sticky with build-up. The main living room/dining area was barely swept before having a mop pushed around, so it dried still dirty. The inside of the oven wasn't cleaned, despite mentioning this specifically during the initial phone call. The entire sunroom was untouched except for a quick wipe of the windowsills (floors, windows, doors were still dirty). While the particular individuals that did our house may be fantastic cleaners for routine jobs to maintain cleanliness, they were ill-prepared for a deep cleaning job. On the plus side, I will be able to clean the rest without feeling completely overwhelmed at the task, since they did do a general cleaning otherwise. The point of contact for the company did offer a discount as well when I mentioned the problems stated above. Overall, I might recommend for a general cleaning service, but look elsewhere for a deep cleaning job."
