"I highly recommend and will be using her services again. Very professional, kind and respectful. Excellent job cleaning. I could not believe how clean they got the shower doors and inside of the oven. They did a deep clean of all bathrooms and the kitchens. It is like brand new. Marisol and her team were very efficient."

"She did very well, left the house very clean. I would hire again. I am going to sell the house, so I wanted linoleum floors, cabinets, bathroom and kitchen counters, and lower walls cleaned. All that was done very well."

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

While you don’t have to have a spotless home for your maid service visit, preparing for a housekeeper makes their visit as efficient as possible. First, if you have pets, ensure they are in a secure location. Your maid service will most likely be coming in and out of your home, and you don’t want the potential of a lost pet.

Placing your valuables and fragile items away in a secure location is also a great way to prepare for your visit. Additionally, decluttering your floors and counters can help make your visit as organized as possible.

Your floor sees a lot of action: foot traffic bringing in dirt from outside, pets with muddy paws, kids dropping food crumbs, and more. All of this makes your floors dirty, and if you don’t keep up with cleaning them, staying on top of the dirt will become more challenging.

Dog scents can linger months, if not years, if you don’t treat the odors at the source. Cleaning carpets to remove odorous pet dander from fibers or disposing of carpets, dog toys, or dog beds that may have urine or other pet smells on them can all help.

No, soap scum doesn’t cause mildew, but the two substances often appear in the same spots. If soap scum is left to sit long enough and if the area stays damp, mildew and mold can grow on top of it. When these fungi combine with soap scum, your surface can become discolored, grimier, smelly, and more difficult to clean.

How often you should clean laminate floors depends on how often people walk on the floors, tracking dirt and grime behind them. Sweep away debris several times each week, and mop and deep clean your laminate floors every two months, increasing these intervals when necessary.
