We verbally agreed to have our roof power washed. We received no written contract, no information about what the job would entail, and only a verbal amount for the cost which we agreed to. None of our contact information was taken. The work crew arrived two hours earlier than the time we were given. They were friendly, professional, and appeared to be efficient and focused on the job. Before they began, I expressed concern about the solar panels. I was told they would be washed down to remove all chemicals and debris. The job was completed in about three hours including clean-up, which was adequate. The roof does look nice and the green on the peak caps is gone. When the crew member requested payment by check, I quoted the verbal agreement of $1,450, but he stated $1,850. He called Raphael and Raphael said to accept the verbal agreement of $1,450. Raphael explained the difference in the amount because we were not in the system. Our check has now cleared the bank. Shortly after the crew left, I found dirty water spots on the floor beneath our bathroom skylight; a dirty drip running down the corner under the skylight, and a black line across the bottom of the skylight. I called Raphael, who gave a reason and said they did not wash skylights, but said he would come by in an hour and a half to check it out. He did not come by. He did not call. Two emails have been sent, but no reply has been received as of yet. That evening our neighbor came over to complain about the dirt and debris from the job that had landed in his side yard, and stated. They need to come back and power wash the side of my house, gate, walk, and deck. I gave him the contact information. He called Raphael, who apologized and said he would send someone out to clean it up the next morning. Someone came but did not have the right equipment to do the job. My neighbor has now been given three different times when someone would come with the right equipment. As of this writing, the clean-up has not been done. It is now four days after the completion of the job. We have had no contact from Raphael.
