"We had an excellent “remodeling” experience with Zohar! Zohar came over to discuss our kitchen and bathrooms remodeling project - he listened, was courteous, gave us many options, gave us an estimate and time frame for the entire work. We found him to be slightly on the pricier side, but we would hire them again in a heartbeat! Absolutely worth each and every penny! Zohar showed up on a regular basis to make sure all was on track and was available any time we had a question/concern. He walks with you through the whole project and is in constant communication. He then gives you a 3D version photo, with the tiles you select so you can see what your kitchen and bathrooms will look like before even starting - super cool. Zohar would also approve any purchases to ensure everything would fit properly (vanity, mirror, toilet, shower fixtures). Was very comforting to have someone available to assure that all your purchases would work out. Zohar’s team was great–they know their stuff — he knows what he’s doing! "While Michael the owner was responsive when it came to the actual scheduled job he sent a much junior technician whom I certainly did not expect because he did not tell me. They were supposed to contact me before he showed up but there was no advance call, luckily I was home at the time. The tech did his job and was about to just leave without showing/telling me about how it works or what he installed. I had to ask him about the installation so I can be sure I knew how the equipment operated and if there's anything I needed to know about the install. In the end my opinion is the attic fan was a waste of money and my time. We don't notice any difference in the interior temperature of our house when it's hot. When I inquired about a refund (within 30 days of the install), Michael said he would offer $89 refund for the equipment and not the install. And to think if I didn't use Angie's list, this would have cost me several more hundred dollars. An expensive lesson learned!

"Granted, the work isn't completely finished, but I wanted to update my review to post how impressed I am. Danny Gold and his crew just completed the tile install phase. They did an extremely complex "wood" tile pattern which looks beautiful in photos and EVEN better in reality. In addition, the bulk of the work and hassles and noise was done remotely while I was out of town. Luis was great an explaining things and even though I wasn't there, I felt everything would be handled with the utmost care and attention to details. Talk about trustworthy!!! Such a gift in a contractor. The tile work cost me a bit more than I expected, but the work was well worth it. They are handling all the extremely annoying inspections (City of Santa Monica slows everything so much!) My shower glass guy was super impressed with the precision of the bathroom. "Like laser crafted" In all, HIGHLY recommend their work!!"

"The inspection done by Octagon Roofing Co Inc. didn't seem like it was thorough. I would have preferred him to go over everything with me. I had to basically ask questions, which  he did answer. In the end, he did what he was supposed to do. They call it a 52 point inspection and basically, it's a xeroxed copy of a check-off list, is what it is. He literally just checked each thing and then "They you go." It's just funny. I find it not to be as much of an inspection and analysis as I would have hoped, that's all. He did have some kind of measurement tape thing that he did and that he looked at. So, that's the only thing. He got here early, but I didn't own the home yet, so I was trying to schedule it to be at a certain time and he got here about 15 minutes early. I don't think that anybody should charge for a roof inspection."

The pet door was too narrow to fit in my side doors where I wanted it installed. George was able to assess what was needed when he arrived. We went to Lowes and he selected the materials he needed to do the job.  He was able to install an extender in my narrow side door and wedged the pet door in, and it fit perfectly!  I can even fully close and lock the glass door in front of the pet door.

He took down the old light fixture in my bathroom and hung the new one including connecting all the electrical.

He used a skill saw and shaved the bottom of the door until it was the perfect size and hung perfectly.
