"I had called 8 other companies and they wanted to do unnecessary work at extremely high prices. We were referred b another company on Angie’s List, who explained we really needed a waterproof coating. I then Spoke to the owner of Fiber Coat Deck Company, and he immediately knew what we needed to stop the leak and prevent it from recurring with a special fiberglass coating used by his company. He even gave a warranty when other companies weren’t even sure that their high priced work wood fix the problem. They were amazing and even sealed around areas the HOW had moved that contributed to the leakage. They put on very professional drain covers and corrected the tilt so the water would actually drain like they should. There has been no leak since. They only took 2 days and the work is excellent quality and looks amazing. The cost was between 1/2 and 1/4th of what other companies put in their bids and they could not guarantee their work. They were honest, professional, competent, on time and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the services of Fiber-Coat Deck Company.

"Shenon Construction installed a Fleetwood sliding glass door which involved demolition, framing, door installation, concrete, and interior and exterior patching and painting. They exceeded all my expectations. The finish is absolute perfection, both interior and out, including matching a bumpy exterior stucco. In addition, everyone was so polite, as well as punctual. I have never had a job where everyone showed up when they said they were going to show up - every...single...day. Adam, the project manager, runs a tight ship, keeping everyone on time and moving forward. The entire team was so positive and supportive. "I requested an inspection and estimate for upgrading of the foundation/sill bolting to obtain a California Earthquake Authority (CEA) Hazard Reduction Discount on our Earthquake Insurance Policy. Julian Construction provided us with a complete foundation inspection and provided us with their recommendation for foundation sill bolt reinforcement work and the associated cost estimate. We then scheduled the construction for a couple months later. Julian Construction prepared drawings and obtained the required City permits, and performed the work as promised. The retrofit work went very smoothly and it was completed in less that two days. Julian Construction returned after the Labor Day Holiday to receive the City's Final Inspection/Acceptance. Julian's Forman and carpenters were very courteous and professional and they provided us with before and after photos to document the work. I requested Julian Construction to complete the CEA's Dwelling Retrofit Verification Form and we subsequently received approval of a CEA premium discount from our Insurance Company.

"I received a few quotes from other contractors and they were actually a little lower than California Custom Landscape. But after our initial meeting with Henry it was obvious he had a lot of knowledge and experience so I was extremely comfortable and confident we would love our new yard. He understood my vision but was honest as to why some of my ideas wouldn’t work with our yard and provided his own suggestions. Most people think that contractors would only make recommendations to increase the cost, but he sees each project as if it were his own home and provides his straightforward opinion as to what really looks best and makes sense. Henry actually may have saved me money. During the construction process, he constantly kept me informed as to what the next steps were and was always available to answer any questions I had day or night. "I have a very old house and it had plaster on the kitchen ceiling. I had a roof leak and part of that plaster fell off the ceiling. I had the roof repaired and then looked on Angie to find a good company to fix the kitchen ceiling. I chose to use LSM Drywall and Painting. Steve Moss the owner and boss is a very kind man and is a contractor who is licensed and insured. His 2 workers J.C. and Saul are absolutely excellent at doing their job and they finished removing all of the old plaster from the kitchen ceiling and replaced it with drywall and then did all of the proper care like sanding and priming and painting the new drywall. It is smooth as glass and painting job is beautiful. LSM Drywall and Painting started the job in a matter of a few days and completed the work in 3 half days. I plan on using them for another project very soon.
