"Fast response and excellent service! Our central A/C was fixed the very same day, and the technician clearly knew what they were doing. We were so impressed that we hired them again for a water heater installation?and they delivered the same level of high-quality, tidy work."

"Bonney office staff set and confirmed appointments, crew called ahead to confirm approximate arrival times. Crew was punctual, courteous, and kept us informed all along the way. This was estimated to be a three-day job, but they completed it in two. The finished job works as expected and is professional in appearance. They left the house, side yard, and driveway with no trace of their having done work there -- except, of course, for the new furnaces, compressors, and associated pipes and tubing.
"
Our team at Bonney helped restore flow at this Sacramento home by performing a sewer spot repair on the main line for our customer. This involved locating the problem area, digging the trench, snaking the line to clear the drain, repairing a section of the sewer pipe, and then backfilling the space to restore back to the original landscape.

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Yes, professional services typically include venting, gas line installation, and necessary permits.
