A very knowledgeable plumber from French Connection Plumbing arrived on time and was very pleasant and listened carefully to what I needed. Not only did he remove the unwanted gas piping and capping it off at the gas meter but he took the bad rusted pipe with him. i expected it to be left to me to dispose of. A section of this pipe was under an uprooted slab of concrete but that didn't stop him from finding a way to remove it. He also dug up the termination piece of the pipe line which was mostly underground and discovered it had a hole in it, This discovery might have prevented some serious damage or even a tragedy had we ever tired to use this gas line. I highly recommend The French Connection and will use them again in the future. They are very professional and the price for my project was more then fair.

In 2012 I spoke with C and C Plumbing regarding a plumber for installation of a tankless water heater.  They recommended Frenchy's Plumbing which I used to install a Rheem Tankless Hot Water Heater.  It took 4 days to complete the installation and in the meantime, I was without hot water and had to shower at a neighbor's home.  Now that the installation is complete, it is not possible for two people to shower at the same time as the hot water heater turns off from overload.  Nor is it possible to fill a tub with warm water as the hot water soon turns cold because the heater turns itself off and the code says to contact the dealer or a qualified technician. When called back about these problems, French boisterously insisted the installation was correct, but the problem has persisted.  He was so adamant and rude to me about this, that i had to ask him to leave my property.

When I contacted another company about the problems, they pointed out several.  The gas piping is undersized, and the condensate is not connected to the proper side of the venting.  In addition, the exhaust and intake air vents on the roof are not properly capped, the fittings on the air pipes are 90 degree angles, not DMV fittings with a sweep, and he used copper piping for the condensate which is subject to acid eating corrosion and is therefore not approved for this type of installation.  This second company told me that I could have had the tankless unit installed outside the house, as I had originally requested.  Frenchy had told me that was not possible according to code.

I would definitely not recommend the services of Frenchy's Plumbing as he is defensive and rude, his work is sloppy and he is incompetent with tankless hot water heaters. To make matters worse, he is ignorant about his mistakes when they are pointed out to him and he refuses to accept that his work is less than adequate.  The client then must hire someone else to do the needed repairs to Frenchy's work.

I finally have hired another company to take out his improperly installed tankless hot water heater and install one correctly on the outside of the house.   I did get a quote for repairs to the original installation, but it was going to be so costly, that it made more sense to install a new one on the outside of the home as I had originally wanted.  Hiring Frenchy's Plumbing was a $5,000 mistake.

I was referred this plumber from C&C Plumbing, not Angie's list. Since it was Christmas time I needed to fix promptly.
The day after I called he came to look at it at 9am, he said bad old pipes, galvanized which I already knew. There was no water pressure, and rust and dirt and in the lines. He then said he would come back at 2:00 and he would get the faucet.
Later, he called and said couldn't do it until the  next morning. So I asked him for a receipt of the faucet, he said he put on his account, so no receipt.
When he finally came next day, he brought helper who actually did the install. The faucet he brought was very simple and he told me it was $86.00, but without a receipt thinking it was much cheaper. The helper replaced the valves but did not get correct valve with 2 hose receptacles, as one was supposed to be connected to dish washer. He told me he would have to pull dishwasher out to replace and would cost more. The valve previously had the 2 connections, so he basically lied about it. I have been planning to get new dishwasher in next few months, but now washing dishes by hand.
Both men also wore no shoe covers which I think is very unprofessional. I had another plumber tell me they put wrong valve in and dishwasher does not have to be pulled to replace valve. I believe it was way overpriced to change out a faucet.
One last thing but definitely the clincher, the big guy Frenchy sneezed three times in my kitchen and did not cover his face.

He is really good about working in older houses with plumbing challenges.  He does extremely high-quality work.  The other thing that stood out about him was that we had some issues with the city locating our water shutoff and he spent extra time around the house working with them to find the shutoff to make sure it was shutoff in a way that didn't cause issues because it is an old valve.
