"We had a great experience working with Wade Petrowich and Malbec Builders on the remodel of our midcentury modern Jack Meiselman house in Palm Springs. Wade handled the major scope of work, including installing new terrazzo tile floors, updating two bathrooms, and completely redoing our kitchen with beautiful custom cabinetry. He also tackled important infrastructure upgrades, replacing all of the old galvanized steel plumbing and upgrading the electrical panel. Throughout the project, Wade was an outstanding communicator. Even though we live out of state, he stayed in touch several times a day and was completely comfortable managing the project remotely. When unexpected challenges came up—as they always do in a remodel—he consistently offered creative, practical, and realistic solutions. Wade is professional, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Wade and Malbec Builders. We would absolutely work with him again!"

"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. They were not our lowest bid but they provided great value with minimal impact to our day to day life over the 4 weeks of the job. His team is friendly, courteous and professional.
