"CHI has done an excellent job for me and I recommend them without hesitation for any remodeling work. Here's why: My job started out with an entry door replacement, evolved into a pantry expansion, and finally finished with an entire kitchen countertop replacement. And they were very responsive, communicated well and frequently, and checked in regularly to make sure the job was getting done right and on time. Each of their craftsmen were highly skilled, knew what they were doing, and didn't cut any corners. And each one was friendly and courteous to boot! "This company is priced higher than others by about $500 but the sales pitch was good and they felt genuine in their goal to make us have an effortless and quick turnaround with impeccable work. The sales person Santana was very nice and accomodating and was able to guarentee it would be done in 1 day 1.5 tops (100 sq ft only tile floor no subfloor- ready to go). Unfortunately, After eight hours of work only padding and a few tiles were placed down and he had to come back. day 2- 8 hours of work.. still not done. Day 3 - now I'm missing work unexpectedly, finished work and our first flush hours later- WATER pours out under toilet. day 4- fix toilet 2 more hours.. -- overpriced, work took 3 x's as long as it should, no compensation for lost time or hassle, looks ok 7.5/10 they used the wrong height baseboard so it doesn't match rest of the room, there are miscut boards and gaps left. "

"We had Specialized Shower Door, Randy, put in 2 frameless shower doors in our previous home. There were no problems. We purchased a smaller home to downsize and I had him put in another frameless shower door. Within a few months I contacted him because the door was misaligned and was putting pressure on the silicone side strip. Also, the silicone sweep on the bottom of the door was ripping. I sent several emails and made many, many phone calls. He never responded. My husband since passed away and after almost a year, I ended up going to Home Depot and found a similar silicone bottom sweep, but I didn't have the tools to cut it to size and had to use a razor blade to cut it and then I tried to file the rough edges which didn't really work. I am sure there are other companies who do better work and who have better customer service. I do not recommend this company. Randy will absolutely leave you hanging after the installation. He will not respond or try to fix any installation problems. Buyer beware!"
