Here's why: My job started out with an entry door replacement, evolved into a pantry expansion, and finally finished with an entire kitchen countertop replacement. I was very pleased with how they worked, the materials they used, and the attention to detail in the workmanship. And they were very responsive, communicated well and frequently, and checked in regularly to make sure the job was getting done right and on time. Each of their craftsmen were highly skilled, knew what they were doing, and didn't cut any corners. And each one was friendly and courteous to boot! I very much appreciated their attention to protecting the rest of the house, and they cleaned up the jobsite every single day at the end of their work day. Remodels are disruptive, no matter what. But this was about the least painful I've experienced. I have worked with a lot of contractors. CHI is a 10 out of 10."

We purchased a smaller home to downsize and I had him put in another frameless shower door. Within a few months I contacted him because the door was misaligned and was putting pressure on the silicone side strip. Also, the silicone sweep on the bottom of the door was ripping. I sent several emails and made many, many phone calls. He never responded. My husband since passed away and after almost a year, I ended up going to Home Depot and found a similar silicone bottom sweep, but I didn't have the tools to cut it to size and had to use a razor blade to cut it and then I tried to file the rough edges which didn't really work. I am sure there are other companies who do better work and who have better customer service. I do not recommend this company. Randy will absolutely leave you hanging after the installation. He will not respond or try to fix any installation problems. Buyer beware!"
