"After adding some new kitchen appliances I decided to have the marble floor redone. After getting several bids I chose California Marble because they were quick to respond, pricing was fair and the job was easy to schedule. On the day of labor Henry was on time and on point. The work was professionally done with outstanding results. I had no idea the marble floor could look that good! Calls and texts were returned quickly, no issues, just great work."

"Martin and Jose came in with all the tools they needed for the job. They repaired the cracked granite and secured/tightened my kitchen faucet. They are innovative and professional. I can't even tell the difference. They sanded and polished the area and caulked the entire area beyond what I asked."

Small jobs welcome

"It was very refreshing to work with professional like Craig, we needed a shower pan retiled. He explained what need to be done in detail prior to starting the project, his price was reasonable for the repair, but most importantly his attention to detail was outstanding. I would recommended him with out hesitation"

"Kole was on tme, courteous, friendly and very professional. He was very careful, and did an excellent job removing and reinstalling floor tiles that had buckled-up. His matching of the tile grout was so good friends couldn't even find the area of tile that had been repaired. I would definately hire Kole again for any tile repair or new tile installation, and would most highly recommend Kole to anyone for tile repair."

"Everything went flawlessly. These gentlemen are craftsmen in every right. Senovio was our contact and he really took the time to make sure things were done to a standard that was unbelievably high. While in the process of setting our floors, Senovio would periodically slide a quarter across the tiles. We were baffled at first. And I personally thought it was weird. But one night while at our neighbors house I demonstrated to my friends how senovio would do this thing with the quarter every morning. In doing so we all understood why he did it. When the quarter was sliding on our floors, it would never bounce. When I sent it sailing down my buddy's hall it bounced as it went over the first grout joint it encountered. The pride that was taken in setting our floors was incredible. Senovio encourages his crew to be the best. They weren't the cheapest bid we got but they were very highly recommended to us. It is refreshing to see that kind of pride in workmanship. Thank you J.M."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Engineered quartz is an artificial, nonporous material made from a mix of mined ground quartz, polymer resins, and pigments, making it a lower-maintenance option. In contrast, quartzite is a natural stone composed of sandstone, which makes it highly resistant to heat but often requires sealing and more careful upkeep. You should clean both types of stone with non-abrasive cleaners that have a low or neutral pH, avoiding acidic cleaners like vinegar, as well as wire brushes and scouring pads.

Your morning mug of coffee won’t instantly damage your quartz countertop, but it’s still wise to play it safe. While quartz can handle brief heat, repeated exposure can wear down its finish over time. Using a coaster adds a simple layer of protection and helps keep your surface looking fresh.

In most cases, chipped or cracked granite can be salvaged, but it depends on the size and scope of the damage. For example, a pro can smooth out small chips on the edge with polish pads or an angle grinder, but a crack that runs through the stone's surface has little-to-no chance of being fixed easily.

While quartz is highly stain-resistant, it is not completely stain-proof. Spills, including water, should be wiped up as soon as possible to prevent staining. Minor stains are usually not permanent and can be removed using a quartz-safe cleaner, a simple mixture of dish soap and water, or a baking soda paste applied with a soft microfiber cloth. For severe stains that persist, professional treatment may be necessary, and in rare cases, countertop repair or replacement might be required.

Yes, onyx countertops can scratch easily—especially if they’re not adequately sealed. But with the proper maintenance (which includes re-sealing the countertops to protect them from damage), you can prevent your onyx countertops from scratching and repair any damage quickly to prevent it from worsening.
