"On initial inspection, they discovered that our old heat registers were the kind with asbestos (house built in the 60's), so they had to sub out the abatement part of the job. Once abatement was complete, the workers showed up each day at the time they said they would arrive. They were all friendly and professional. They kept everything clean. The took pictures in the attic to show me before, during, and after the work. They explained what they were doing and showed me the new ducting they were installing (quiet ducts) and explained the more "up-to-date" way of putting in the duct work than what we had. After the work was complete, we noted that the furnace ran much quieter (due to new ducting), and it ran WAY less often. The house stayed much warmer while running the furnace much less often. Best of all, our gas bill dropped! Now that we're moving into summer, the house seems to be staying cooler on these warm days. We don't have A/C so we're hoping the new insulation will keep the house cooler as the days continue to warm up. Very happy with the company and all the work they did. I would recommend them!"

"After calling to request an energy audit and enhanced attic insulation, a representative came out to survey the site and prepare a proposal to replace heating ducts in the attic with R6 ducts, seal the attic from the house, and add 14? blown-in fiber insulation on top of the existing 8? of fiberglass insulation. 
Then a technician came out to do a safety inspection of the heating system, hot water system, fireplace, gas appliances, ventilation, ducting, etc. He completed a series of tests to measure how well the house was sealed before any work was done. He took pictures of everything.
Then a team came out and replaced the ducts, sealed the attic, built dams around the bathroom ventilation fan and the whole house fan, installed channels for the eave vents, and prepared to install new insulation. One of the techs accidentally miss-stepped and cracked the ceiling drywall (see: What surprises come up during the course of the work?), which prevented them from finishing the insulation install until after the ceiling was repaired, which they would do at no cost to me. 
A drywall tech came out to repair the ceiling and resurface the popcorn ceiling.
The install team came back out to complete the insulation install. They blew-in another 14 to 16 inches of fiber insulation on top of the ceiling joists pre-existing fiberglass insulation. They took pictures of everything.
The original technician returned to repeat the seal tests and take more photos. The test results, before and after, and all the photos would be submitted for a state energy efficiency program rebate.
I called about a month later to check on the status of the rebate, and was told that the state requested that the ventilation fan dam be upgraded. A technician returned to complete the upgrade and take additional photos to submit to the rebate program.
I received a $1300 rebate from a state energy efficiency program, reducing the cost to $700 to me."

"Last week I had Landmark energy upgrades, do energy efficiency work at my home. The work included sealing all my duct-work in the attic as well as sealing all the spots between the living space below and blowing in additional insulation in order to bring me up to today's standards. I also had them replace all the duct work in my crawlspace and seal it as well as when they came for their initial inspection they found that my duct-work was riddled with holes and was completely uninsulated as well as being unsealed. I initially contacted Landmark after receiving notification that they were offering assorted rebates for home owners to incentivize them to do upgrades to there homes.
I was super pleased with these guys, a total of two crews worked on our home and they were both quick, professional, and explained what they would be doing in detail when they first arrived. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. Immediately I noticed a difference in my home after the work was finished. The HVAC system weren?t running nearly as much and the temperature in the home was absolutely more consistent.  Landmark Energy Upgrades promptly handled all the paperwork required in order for me to receive my rebates making this part of the process extremely easy.
