"We have problems with one of the burners on our gas GE cooktop and have decided to purchase an electric model. Both Home Depot and Angi helped us in our search for an electrician. Happily, we found Zack Nelson of Nelson Electric in nearby Vacaville. He promptly arrived, checked our electric panel, cabinets above and under our cooktop, and attic for running new electric wiring from the garage panel to the kitchen. A previous estimate led us to believe this wish to change from gas to electric was more than we wanted to pay. Zack has a "can do" attitude, and his price was much lower. Within days, Zack and his crew member Westley completed the following: replacement of two breakers in our sub panel to make room for the new 40 amp breaker and installed a 40 amp 240 volt circuit to the cabinet under the cooktop. This was done within a couple of hours and they cleaned up completely before they left. We are now ready to purchase and have our new electric cooktop installed. "I liked the work that was done, taking out wood flooring in the kitchen and installing vinyl planks. It was done in fits and starts - there was a leak from the dishwasher which warped the wood and left the sub-flooring wet so it needed about a week with a fan running all the time to dry out. the price was reasonable and much less than the other two bids from other contractors."

"The quoter was knowledgeable of choices for materials and pros and cons of each and what would look good on our house. This was a key factor in choosing ADHW. It took a little longer than planned to get the job started based both on installer availability as well as our schedule, but this was coordinated by the scheduler, we were kept informed and there were no surprises. The construction crew was punctual, showed up every day, cleaned up after themselves and were willing to accommodate some of the special request we had. They even did a couple extra things that were not spelled out in the contract, without any argument. The only suggestion for improvement I have is that there were a number of different parties to deal with: the quoter, the scheduler, the supervising manager for construction, and the on site construction supervisor. It was not always clear to whom I should talk to about what."
