"Came the same day. Had trouble getting other roof cleaning companies to clean my patio roof. Palacios did it right away. Didn't leave a mess of debris swept off the roof for me to clean up."

Small jobs welcome

"Jay did a very expert job of cleaning my roof and killing the moss without damaging any for my plants. He also was helpful in many ways, with the screen removal and replacement on some 2nd story windows, alerting me to some minor roof damage which I have not repaired and power washing a small outdoor rug. He also suggested he could clean the deck wood and did an amazing job. I would recommend him highly and plan to make this a yearly service."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Only if the dishwasher isn’t made of stainless steel. The corrosive chemicals in bleach will stain stainless steel and can also cause further damage. To stay on the safe side, stick with an extra cycle of vinegar to banish any lingering odors.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Most people perform the bulk of their household cleaning tasks once a week. Since a whole-home, top-to-bottom weekly cleaning can take up a significant chunk of time, break weekly tasks up by day so you don’t have to lose your whole weekend to cleaning and maintaining your house. Many people also find the cost of a house cleaner to be worth it to help keep their home clean if it’s hard to find the time themselves.

Anything that might have been exposed to fumigation chemicals should be washed before use. Wipe down and sanitize surfaces like countertops and tables, and wash all utensils (or take care to store them in an airtight box beforehand), as well as anything else that could find its way into someone’s mouth, like kid or pet toys.

Hydrogen peroxide is an effective stain remover for many kinds of stains on porcelain, ceramic, stone, and stainless steel sinks. Always consult your manufacturer’s instructions to ensure hydrogen peroxide won’t damage your sink. To remove stains with hydrogen peroxide, saturate the corner of a cloth or sponge with peroxide and gently dab at the stain until it lightens.
