"Luis and his guys are awesome! The work was done on time and looks better than I expected! I had my entire house remodeled, and Luis helped me with all the hardwood floors, tile in the Kitchen, bathroom and titled my entire master shower. The shower is by far the WOW piece of the house now. Everyone Loves it! Thanks again Luis for being easy to work with and very helpful through the process!!"

Small jobs welcome

"We needed a job done for a house we are trying to sell right away and Teo was quick to give us a competitive estimate and get the job done. The price was great and the quality was amazing. Teo was patient with us as we took longer than expected trying to decide the floor color. We will be using them again in the future!"

"I had a great experience working with Guilherme and his team at GB Flooring. I was initially hesitant due to his limited reviews, but his 10+ years of experience, including projects on PLNU buildings, gave me confidence in his work. Our project involved removing the particle board and tile that made up the original subfloor of our condo and replacing it with a new plywood subfloor. The team then leveled the floor before installing new LVP flooring along with newly painted baseboards and quarter round molding. Guilherme and his team worked quickly and efficiently, completing the entire project in about 4.5 consecutive days. They were punctual every day and the quality and attention to detail were excellent. They were also very courteous and respectful of our HOA noise requirements, working within allowed hours without issue. Guilherme was transparent and easy to work with, and the project ultimately came in within our budget. I would highly recommend GB Flooring for your projects."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

Professional well contractors may use electromagnetic mapping to look for places with a high likelihood of water. Water access can vary significantly, even on the same property, so it can be difficult to know where to drill if you don’t have specialized tools to look for water.

Measure from zero on a measuring tape by placing the metal hook right up against the edge of what you need to measure. You can also latch the hook onto an open edge—of, say, a table—to accurately measure as well. If you begin at the 1-inch mark, you'll need to subtract an inch from your total.

A land survey can take anywhere from a few hours to a month or more, depending on the size of the property, the type of survey, the property’s accessibility and topography, and the availability of historical property records. A simple boundary survey to determine a fence line can be completed in a day while surveying 50 acres of undeveloped woodlands may take weeks or longer.

A boundary survey measures the boundary lines of the property, only the length of each property line and their locations. A land survey includes a more in-depth measurement of the property, including the heights and depths of the terrain measured by a topographic survey. A boundary survey is typically the most cost-effective method for marking and measuring property lines.

Permit requirements to clear land vary by municipality, so whether or not you need permits depends on where you live and what you’re removing from the land. Some building departments will require permits for any underground work or excavation, meaning grinding down tree stumps on your property would require permits. Others mandate individual permits for each tree you remove. You can contact your local building department or a land-clearing specialist near you to see if permits are necessary for your job.
