"Jorge came on time, conducted a thorough inspection and explained the results. I'm glad to have found a company that can inspect my solar system after the installation company went out of business"
"Two years ago Riley Plumbing and Heating replaced the corroded galvanized water pipe from the street meter to my house, so I was very surprised to have another water leak in the back yard last month. Riley Plumbing came out again, and found that the new leak was due to another corroded galvanized pipe that was supplying water to the back yard irrigation system. They replaced this pipe, tying the water supply to the irrigation system to the water line they installed two years ago. Mike Rojas, Luis Ortiz and Aiden did the work in a professional manner, and left the back yard in good shape for re-seeding this fall. (Hopefully no more corroded pipes in my yard!)"
"Great job on the house, they had everything installed in 3 days and once the LAWP Panel from the power company and hooked everything, then everything was working well. they took care of all the paper works and documentation, and everything was done quickly. Best price available for us."

"I had a very positive experience working with Spreck Solar. Jono was very easy to work with. His workers were professional and respectful. I received an excellent quote for my installation and am happy with my choice. The company has continued to be responsive when I had questions."
"We are so happy with our solar panels and knowing we are utilizing the sources naturally given to us to acquire energy. We are hoping to see the difference it will make on our bill. The team and company at Green NRG involved have made this process so easy and educational they have been incredible to work with. I can't say between the professionalism when I called with questions they were great. We would recommend you without hesitation as we are 110% satisfied."
"We added solar panels to our home and had a great all around experience with this company. We got top of the line panels at a very competitive price without all of the heavy sales pressure associated with this industry. They answered all of our questions and after 10 months we have a net surplus of electricity being generated by our system. Last year we owed PG&E a $1,000 for electrical usage -- this year ZERO! Thanks Daniel, Emily, Victor, & Ben. Glad to recommend Gold Rush Energy Solutions."
DIY solar panel installations are hard to manage by yourself. You’ll likely need some help or prior experience to make the project worth the effort.
In most cases, installing solar panels will not void your roof warranty. To keep roof warranties intact, check your written warranty or call the manufacturer to ask about clauses regarding roof penetrations. You can also protect yourself by getting written approval or a modified warranty that specifically allows the solar installation type you’re planning. Then, hire a professional solar installer that follows roofing manufacturer instructions and protects the roof during installation.
On average, a typical fridge uses 115 kWh per month. With eight hours of sunlight per day, a 100-watt solar panel can produce 30 kWh per month. This means you’ll need at least four dedicated panels to power the refrigerator with solar energy. Consult with a solar power specialist to get a more accurate estimate.
Homeowners replace their solar panels after 25 years. That said, you don’t necessarily need to replace them at the 25-year mark. You’ll notice a declining ability to produce electricity over time. Most homeowners spring for a replacement when they notice their energy bills creeping up to regular levels or when solar panel repairs are extensive, frequent, and no longer economical.
The time it takes to install solar panels depends on the number of panels and the size of your home, but installation takes between two and three days of work. While most contractors can install the panels over the course of a couple of days, switching to solar energy can take two to three months in total. This includes the time it takes to design the system, procure the parts, obtain the permits, install the panels, connect to the main power grid, and get an inspection.
