"I was not surprised to read and see that Landmark construction energy crew have such an excellent reputation online, as I would also recommend them and their jobs. We hired them to paint the exterior and interior of our house few months ago and they did a remarkable job. The job went on without any problem or issues even though we were not at the house part of the time due to a trip that we went on. The quality of the work that they did get into a minor delay and it took longer than expected, but it was not because of their fault. Before we hired Landmark construction energy crew, we had other contractors in at the same time and they were getting in each other’s way. When the paint project was completed, we were very satisfied with the final results. Our house looks brand new now and we can't say enough good things about how beautiful it came out. Charlie was the nicest and lovely man during the project and he was very in-depth, extremely detail oriented and he didn’t cut corners in any way. Charlie with his workers went above and beyond on our job to make us pleased and we felt like they treated our house as if it was his own. Charlie took pride in the job that they were doing and the final work can show that very clear. It’s sad to mention but those days, it’s very hard to find workers like that anymore. We also were very pleased with Jose (the main painter that ran the show when Charlie was not around). Joe stayed in close contact with Charlie and us as the job developed. The pricing for this whole work was very fair and they were willing to work around our though schedule. "Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. Within a couple days from the initial phone call I already had an estimate and once i decided to go with them the installation was completed in one week. Its been a little over a month since they completed the install and everything is working smoothly.

I interviewed a few companies but Eli, from Ocean Seven Builders, was super informative, honest and straight-forward. "We contacted them for remodel of 2 of our bathrooms. Excellent work by the project manager and his team on our master bathroom and guest bathroom remodel. He helped us come up with a good design and took care of everything including scheduling inspections and approval of permits. He even accompanied us during shopping trips and provided valuable inputs to help us pick finishing materials. He is also very receptive of critical feedback and goes the extra mile to make sure we are happy with the work at the end of the day. Overall very pleasant experience working with the manager and his crew. Highly recommended!"

"One phone call i never like hearing is from one of my tenants saying they flooded the house. There was a pipe that broke in my home and flooded the whole house. My normal restoration guy was busy and this property was a little out of his way so I looked to angies list to find a good contractor. I was very impressed with Justin he answered right away and set a time the next day to come out. I had 1 other company come and I really like them and choose to work with Hometown restoration. They were very good with the whole process, quick and the repair work, drywall, flooring and paint were like it never happened, and I'm a semi pro contractor myself! Thanks so much!!"

"When we decided to redo our kitchen in April of 2012, we knew what we wanted fixed, our budget and that's about it. We started talking to contractors, kitchen design centers and researching ideas. We quickly realized we were in WAY over our heads. A lot of places offer free design services if you buy all of your materials through them. We didn't want to be tied down. We didn't want a complete tear down to the studs, either. Homemade Design to the rescue! First of all the price was an absolute steal for the service provided. Amanda and co. Listened to what we wanted and came up with inovative,functional and beautiful solutions. Our house is old. We wanted to keep that 1920s feel, but still have a dishwasher, granite countertops and stainless appliances! Amanda had the brilliant idea of only replacing the bottom cabinets. She also gave me excellent instructions on how to refinish my existing cabinets so they look like new. This was a perfect solution for US. Homemade Design gave us ideas for layout, cabinets, lighting, wall paint, appliances, furniture, countertops, backsplash, faucets, sink,and cusions for built in. She would have recommended flooring if we wanted,but we didn't. Now, Amanda is more like a consultant...( I actually called her my kitchen remodel therapist). You still are ultimately responsible for the plan and what works for you. If your measurements are off (like mine were) that's on you. I was adament about no island and no microwave over the stove and so she didn't put those in the design. Some suggestions were not my style. And I said so. Honestly, if I picked out my own kitchen it would be so safe: white subway tile or something. Amanda gave me the guts to mix patterns and create something spectacular! It took almost a year to complete ( contractors fault) We did a lot of work ourselves. We bought the cabinets, backsplash tile, light fixtures, table and banquette cusions through Homemade Design at a great discount, we checked!! If you try shopping for any part of your kitchen, the volume of choices can be overwhelming. We loved having Amanda narrow it down for us. Communication was through email, mostly. She never took longer than three business days to respond to my million questions or concerns. Awesome. 5 months later, my kitchen is a dream come true. And I owe it all to Homemade Design!

"She was fine. We were working long distance and communication took place via phone and email. I would not ever hire someone long distance again for design work unless I see something on their website that is exactly what I like. She was very responsive though and she provided us with pictures of sample furniture and physical designs. I gave her a 'B' because she didn’t take a lot of time to customize the plan to our style. I expected her to adapt to our style, but instead she tried to make our living room fit her style. She seems to have a look that is her style and we actually asked her re-do the plan a few times before we got something usable. In the end, she is very good at what she does and she is very professional, but her design style doesn’t fit our way of living."
