At first, we met with Ron that came over and met with us about the issues that we had with our water heater and with the bills that we currently pay for electric. Ron recommended us to replace the bulky old water heater and to install a tankless system that will supply hot water immediately and with the use of less gas. We liked that idea and we decided to go for this project. Ron came over to our house with his 2 people that basically took care of all the removal and the installation of the new system. He got the machine working again by installing a new hard drive and adding more memory for increased performance. Just a couple of weeks later, the computer again was having problems. This time, Jim dianosed the culprit as being the machine's original memory. While I decided not to remove and not replace the faulty memory for the time being due to cost, Jim upgraded my operating system to enhance the overall system performance. "The plumbing upgrade and dishwasher installation went very well this morning.  I bought a dishwasher for first-time installation in my older home and had texted Joshua the night before with pics of the "then current" plumbing and electrical situation.  He arrived on time with proper plumbing and electrical fittings and went immediately to work.  The used dishwasher I'd bought required more pieces, so getting those from Lowe's was arranged and he finished the entire job within 2 hours!  The only small concern (which he immediately straightened out!!) was the chrome airgap pop-up on the sink was a bit crooked, but again, he fixed that right up.   I am looking forward to hearing his estimate on some upcoming electrical  work for my patio.   I WILL recommend him to my neighbors and local friends!!

"They sell to you a filter to your furnace that is metal that is supposed to be a strong benefit over the throw away kind. This is kind of controversial. You have to take it out and hose it down. I stopped using it on the advice of my air conditioning installer."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
