We take great pride in our experience, expertise, quality, and customer service that we provide to meet the consumer's needs. It is our mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. In order to understand the needs and expectations of our customers, we take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner. Our reputation is based on service, safety, and quality, regardless of how large or small the job.

"The contractor (Mr. Monty) agreed to inspect if the original underlayment is a non-absorbent material/ overlay and the original vapor was damaged? If a new non-absorbent underlayment was installed and a new vapor barrier was applied on the concrete? If the kitchen floor needs to have a vapor barrier? Contractor also agreed to inspect signs of watermarks on concrete subfloor, cabinets and in the kitchen drop. Contractor has the access for these inspections. Contractor refused to do the inspection according to the scope of the work, and added unnecessary and voluntary items in the report that has no sign of watermark and has nothing to do with my scope of work. The Report does not state: 1. If the original underlayment inspected under refrigerator is a nonabsorbent material or not (please see picture in the report.) 2. If the original vapor barrier inspected on the concrete in the closet is damaged or not (please see picture in the report.) 3. if a new non-absorbent underlayment was installed or not? 4. if a new vapor barrier was applied or not? 5. if kitchen floor needs to have a vapor barrier? 6. if there are any signs of watermarks in the kitchen drop and on the concrete in the closet. Report should have not added voluntary items and information outside of the scope of the work. It feels like contractor did the inspection for someone else at my cost."

We are owner operated with 22 plus years in Construction allowing us to see an issue because we have most likely fixed it in the past. Why do we do what we do? We have been there! We have purchased homes before. One of those homes we relied on our home inspector and once we closed all was not what it seemed to be. We were stuck with repairs that at the time we could not afford, and we definitely did not plan for. So now it is our mission to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. We want you to be prepared and make an informed decision on one of the most important and largest investments that you will make in your life. We treat the homes that we inspect as if we will be living there with our children. What do we do as an inspection company? We visually inspect the structure and components of a home with top-of-the-line tooling looking for any immediate or potential problems. We then provide a written report with a description of the problematic areas and include recommendations for further evaluation. What type of buildings do we inspect? From mobile homes to 8000 sqft Mansions and light commercial to heavy commercial Properties.

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

Structural engineers can perform various inspections on different structures in your home. These inspections usually include a report detailing the engineer’s findings and recommendations for repairs so you can determine your next course of action for repairs, replacements, or new builds. Some of the most common structural engineering reports include:

  • Full home inspection: $350–$1,000

  • Foundation: $300–$800

  • Load-bearing walls: $300–$1,000

  • Roof: $150–$600

  • Chimney: $200–$500

Full home electrical inspections are mandatory if you’re buying a new home, but if you’re just looking for a safety checkup, you have some flexibility. If you don’t have any concerns and your property is relatively new, a basic inspection is usually sufficient. If it’s been a long time since your home was last inspected, or it’s an older home, a full home inspection can help catch any concerns that may fly under the radar.

You can ensure a home inspector is unbiased by doing your research. Verify their work history and certifications so you know they’re qualified to be inspecting your home. Read reviews to understand other customers’ experiences and whether or not they were satisfied with the inspector’s assessment. Interview potential home inspectors and ask how they get their clients. If they’re not dependent on any one realtor for clients, they’re unlikely to risk producing a faulty report just to benefit one agent.

The difference between an energy auditor and a home inspector is primarily in the purpose of the inspection. The energy auditor conducts tests in your home to determine the energy efficiency levels in areas like windows, insulation, and doorways. The auditor then makes recommendations for ways to improve a home’s energy efficiency

A home inspector examines various structures of your home to determine that everything is up to code and gauge the condition of features like the roof, foundation, HVAC, and electrical. The home inspector reports on the overall home and makes repair recommendations.

To check the water pressure in your house, you’ll need to use a water pressure gauge, which you can purchase at your local hardware store. Locate your outside water spigot and attach the gauge (following the manufacturer’s instructions). Normal home water pressure is between 40 and 80 PSI.
