"This week I requested them to clean the gutter and solar and remove pigeon nest under the solar and install new bird guard around the solar. He was too friendly, handled things correctly, and finished too professionally. As a bonus, I also cleaned the washer ventilation system. The price is also negotiable. I am going to request what I need for a house work in the future."

"We had an excellent experience with Easylife Cleaning Company for both our move-in and move-out cleaning. Their team did an amazing job! When we walked into the home after the cleaning, everything felt incredibly clean, fresh, and refreshed. The freshness lasted all the way until our new tenants moved in.Their attention to detail and quality of work really stood out. If you’re looking for a reliable professional cleaning service in the East Bay, I highly recommend Easylife Cleaning Company. The entire team was professional, dependable, and trustworthy. We felt completely comfortable leaving the home in their hands, and they exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using their East Bay cleaning services again whenever we need them. An awesome Easy Life Cleaning Services team !"

House Cleaning FAQs, answered by experts

Onions, peppers, fish, broccoli, and fried chicken taste great—but the leftover smells can be less than appetizing. Even if these foods are cooked perfectly, the odors they leave behind can linger well beyond the dishes being cleared and washed. Fortunately, you can use the same tips to get a burnt smell out of the house and remove stubborn food odors. In addition, make sure you’re keeping your fridge clear of odor-smelling foods for too long to keep the stench from invading other foods.

On average, it takes between four and eight hours to deep clean a house. The exact time depends on factors like the size of the home, the number of rooms, and how dirty it is. A home that is frequently cleaned will take less time than one that is not. If you are short on time, you can break the job into smaller tasks or hire a professional house cleaner.

The cost of a professional house cleaning service typically ranges from $30 to $50 per hour. The final price depends on factors like the size of your house, the type of cleaning requested, and the overall level of cleaning required.

On average, you can expect to pay around $170 for a professional cleaning. Costs can also be calculated per square foot, ranging from $0.05 to $0.15 for a standard cleaning and up to $0.20 for a deep clean.

Here's a breakdown of potential costs by service type:

  • Standard Cleaning: Includes tasks like sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down kitchen and bathroom surfaces. This typically costs between $75 and $175 per visit.

  • Deep Cleaning: A more thorough service that may include window washing, cleaning under furniture, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. This can cost from $200 to $600 for a whole-home deep clean.

  • Specific Add-ons: Services like window cleaning can cost $4 to $10 per window, and carpet cleaning can range from $75 to $200.

Many maid services offer discounts for regularly scheduled appointments.

Soot can be harder to remove compared to other types of stains given its acidic nature. It can also cause underlying paint to peel off during the cleaning process. If your soot issue is a result of smoke damage, it’s recommended you call a pro to help remove it versus doing it yourself.

The most effective toilet tank cleaners include commercial cleaning products, but for DIY purposes, white vinegar is best. Vinegar can help kill bacteria and remove mineral buildup from your toilet tank, but it won’t harm the necessary bacteria in your septic tank as some commercial products can. For the best clean, hire a professional to choose the most aggressive cleaning product that’s still safe for your septic tank, or use white vinegar and a scrub brush to do the cleaning yourself.
